Heller (band)

Heller is a Serbian and former Yugoslav speed/thrash metal band from Belgrade, notable as one of the first Yugoslav thrash metal bands and one of the pioneers of former Yugoslav extreme metal. The band's debut self-titled album is arguably the first extreme metal album in former Yugoslavia, and one of the first of the kind in Southeastern Europe.

History

1985 1993

The band was formed in 1985 by Ljubomir Milojković "Attila" (guitar, vocals) and Kosta Bogdanović "Kole" (solo guitar), with Zoran Miladinović "Deda" (bass guitar) and Saša Đaković "Müller" (drums). During the following year, the band had their first larger appearances at the Hit 202 held at the Belgrade Dom Omladine, with the band Dr. Steel from Rijeka, and the Belgrade Heavy Metal Festival, with the popular bands of the time, Legija from Zagreb, Crna Udovica from Dubrovnik and Ruska Zima from Belgrade. The lineup also recorded a live demo recording, made at a performance in Zemun, featuring the songs "Dead or Alive", "Armageddon" and "Heller", which were broadcast on the national Radio 202.

The Heller is a 29 km long river in western Germany. left tributary of the Sieg. The source is located near Burbach / Würgendorf. It flows into the river Sieg in Betzdorf. Its basin area is 204 km².

Catalepsy (band)

Catalepsy is an American deathcore band formed in 2004. To date they have had three releases - one EP, Godless, and two studio albums, Iniquity and Bleed.

History

Catalepsy was founded in 2004. Originally formed as a thrash/metalcore three-piece. Went on hiatus from May 2006 to August 2006; Catalepsy came back with more of a deathcore sound. Catalepsy entered the studio in September and recorded two demo songs. In 2008, the band finished a tour with Hatebreed for their Live Dominance DVD release. They completed their first studio album, Iniquity, in January 2008. The album was released on May 13, 2008. In early 2008, the band recorded a music video for their song "Trust". It premiered on MTV's Headbangers Ball. In late 2008, Drew Carothers left the band due to personal issues. He was replaced with Josh Anderson of the Florida band Iamdivide. The band continued to tour, with such bands as After the Burial, Oceano, Too Pure to Die, Waking the Cadaver, Rose Funeral and many others.

Bleed (Angel Dust album)

Bleed is the fourth studio album by German heavy metal band Angel Dust, released in 1999. The band took a slightly darker direction on the album, without losing the power metal melodies they explored with their previous studio album, Border of Reality.

    We Are the Ocean

    We Are the Ocean are a four piece English rock band from Loughton, Essex, consisting guitarist, vocalist Liam Cromby, bass guitarist Jack Spence, guitarist Alfie Scully and drummer Tom Whittaker. Vocalist Dan Brown left the band in 2012. They are signed to Hassle Records in the United Kingdom and SideOneDummy Records in the United States.

    Over the course of their career they have released three LPs: Cutting Our Teeth in 2010, Go Now and Live in 2011 and Their third LP, Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow was released on 17 September 2012 through Hassle Records in the United Kingdom and SideOneDummy Records in the United States. Their fourth studio album, ARK, was released on 11 May 2015.

    Formation and self-titled debut EP (20072008)

    Dan Brown and Jack Spence were formally in a band named Dead But Still Dreaming, and when they disbanded they set about finding new members for a new band. They had formed a full line-up again by 2007 with Liam Cromby, Rickie Bloom and Tom Whittaker, and still under the original name of Dead But Still Dreaming. After a while, Bloom left the band and was eventually replaced by Alfie Scully. Shortly after the creation of this solid line-up, the band decided on a new start with the name We Are The Ocean.
