This is a list of reportedly haunted locations throughout the world, that are said to be haunted by ghosts or other supernatural beings, including demons. Reports of haunted locations are part of ghostlore, which is a form of folklore.

Haunting (video game)

Haunting Starring Polterguy is a 1993 video game released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis by Electronic Arts. It took advantage of Sega's Video Game Ratings Council to include various horror themes, including blood and gore. Haunting also includes comedic elements that take form in silly ways of haunting the family in the game, such as Polterguy possessing sofas to form large lips and tongues, or turning every day kitchen cabinets into clear windows to outer space.

In August 2006, GameSpot reported that Electronic Arts would be porting the game to the PlayStation Portable as part of the EA Replay compilation UMD. This compilation was released in the United States on November 7, 2006.

Story

The main protagonist and player character, Polterguy, is a rebellious punk teenager who was killed in an accident involving defective skateboards manufactured by business mogul Vito Sardini and his corporation. Polterguy seeks revenge by haunting Vito's home and tormenting him and his family from beyond the grave by effectively being a Poltergeist.

Barry Sonnenfeld

Barry Sonnenfeld (born April 1, 1953) is an American filmmaker and television director. He worked as cinematographer for the Coen brothers, then later he directed films such as The Addams Family and its sequel, Addams Family Values along with the Men in Black trilogy, and the critically acclaimed Get Shorty. Sonnenfeld has also had four collaborations with actor and comedian Will Smith.

Life and career

Sonnenfeld was born and raised in New York City, the son of Kelly, an art teacher, and Sonny Sonnenfeld. He was raised in a Jewish family. After he received his bachelor's degree from Hampshire College, he graduated from New York University of Film School in 1978. He began working on pornographic films, before starting work as director of photography on the Oscar-nominated In Our Water (1982). Then Joel Coen and Ethan Coen hired him for Blood Simple (1985). This film began his collaboration with the Coen brothers, who used him for their next two pictures, Raising Arizona (1987) and Miller's Crossing (1990). He also worked with Danny DeVito on Throw Momma from the Train (1987) and Rob Reiner on When Harry Met Sally (1989) and Misery (1990).

Lore (Today I Caught the Plague album)

Lore is the first full-length album by Canadian progressive metal band Today I Caught the Plague. Released June 14, 2011 Independently. This album doesn't feature the dirty vocal style that their 2008 EP, Ms. Mary Mallon, had opting for cleanly sung vocals only instead of the growls that were heard throughout the EP.
