Founded in 2012 by Mitchell Hashimoto and Armon Dadgar, HashiCorp exists with the goal to revolutionizing datacenter management: application development, delivery, and maintenance.
HashiCorp builds tools to ease the gaps created in the modern data center such as microservices, security, and organizational decisions by presenting solutions that span the gaps. HashiCorp tools manage both physical machines and virtual machines, Windows, and Linux, SaaS and IaaS, etc. HashiCorp was founded on an open core of technologies powering thousands of companies worldwide, which have been developed in the open on GitHub since 2010.
Although HashiCorp is headquartered in San Francisco, HashiCorp employees are distributed across the United States and Europe, with partners strategically located in other countries around the world.
