Halloween (1931 film)

Halloween is a short animated film distributed by RKO Radio Pictures, and starring Toby the Pup. Though not the last cartoon in the series, it is the last one that is known to exist today.

Plot

At a Halloween party, a jolly Toby dances around. He kisses several girls but each reacts with dismay and runs away. One girl confronts Toby. Toby kisses her a few times and she slaps him. She then complains to him about trying to spoil her party, and threatens to tell his mother about it. To placate her, Toby offers to play the piano. He plays while the other guests listen, including a goat who eats various household objects, including the piano keys. A church bell chimes and Toby warns everyone that this is the witching hour.

Meanwhile, a witch and various supernatural creatures are flying above. They fall through the chimney and frighten the party guests. Toby fights with several ghosts. When a number of ghosts surround him, he emulates a rooster's crow which frightens the ghosts and they flee. Toby and the girl notice an egg on the floor which hatches into a small ghost who calls Toby "daddy".

Halloween (American Horror Story)

"Halloween" is a two-part episode, consisting of the fourth and fifth episodes of the first season of the television series American Horror Story. The first part aired on October 26, 2011, and the second on November 2, 2011. Part 1 was written by James Wong and Part 2 was written by Tim Minear; both were directed by David Semel. Part 1 is rated TV-MA (LSV) and Part 2 is rated TV-MA (LV).

Part 1 was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Costumes for a Miniseries, Movie or Special.

In this two-part episode, the Harmons are visited by the former owners of the house and are given advice on Halloween decorating while Tate (Evan Peters) is harassed by bloody teens while on a date with Violet (Taissa Farmiga). Kate Mara and Zachary Quinto are credited as special guest stars for their roles as Hayden McClaine, the student Ben was having an affair with; and Chad Warwick, one of the former homosexual owners of the house.

Plot

Part 1

2010

In 2010, a gay couple Chad (Zachary Quinto) and Patrick (Teddy Sears) now own the house. They have a damaging relationship and while decorating the house, Chad confronts Patrick about his infidelity after finding seductive messages to a person online before an angered Patrick leaves. Moments later, the Rubber Man appears and Chad believes the man to be his partner but the latex figure ends up attacking him before attempting to drown him before breaking his neck. Patrick, in a cowboy costume arrives and sees Chad's corpse before staring at the Rubber Man in shock.

Halloween is a heavy metal band from Detroit, Michigan.

Background

The group was formed in 1983 by members Rick Craig, Brian Thomas, George Neal and Bill Whyte. Its debut album Don't Metal with Evil was released in 1985 on the Motor City Metal label. In 1986, Halloween started work on its follow up to Don't Metal With Evil, Victims of the Night. However, the record was shelved until it was finally released on Molton Metal Records in 1997.

In 1988, members Rick Craig and Bill Whyte left to pursue other careers. In 2000, Craig was asked to join Charlie Huhn and the British band Humble Pie with Jerry Shirley to go on a U.S Tour. He also at the time was playing in the band NOON, in which he and Ean Evans were the primary song writers. Their replacements were future Godsmack drummer Tommy Stewart and guitarist Billy Gray, who would go on to play in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti-based rock band Fair Game (not to be confused with the band led by former Keel vocalist Ron Keel).

In 1989, Halloween opened for Crimson Glory on a couple of dates on their Transcendence tour. In that same year, Halloween began work on a new album with Jon Drenning of Crimson Glory and Warren Wyatt management. The album never made it to the shelves.

VIC Avenger is a Space Invaders clone published by Commodore International for the VIC-20. A year later it was released for the Commodore 64.

Rage is a German heavy metal band, formed in 1984 founded by Peter "Peavy" Wagner. They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene to emerge in the early to mid-1980s, along with bands such as Helloween, Running Wild, Blind Guardian and Grave Digger.

Rage is a part of the German heavy metal scene that emerged in the mid-1980s. Formed in 1984 under the name, Avenger. After releasing their debut album Prayers of Steel and their Depraved to Black EP in 1985, the band changed their name to Rage because there was another band in England that also had the same name. Originally the new name was meant to be Furious Rage but it was eventually shortened to "Rage".

Thirteen musicians have been part of Rage over the years, been the most successful line up the one knows nowadays as the Refuge Years, with Manni Schmidt and Chris Efthimiadis. The second notable line-up was the one formed with Mike Terrana and Victor Smolski.

Through the years, Rage established themselves as a notable successful band and as pioneers of the Power Metal scene, including in their music elements of Progressive Metal and Classical Music. in 1996 Rage was really the first Metal Band to write and record an album with a full symphonic orchestra Lingua Mortis followed by the album XIII, considered one of the greatest Rock & Metal Albums of all times.

Stargate SG-1 (season 7)

Season seven of Stargate SG-1, an American-Canadian television series, began airing on June 13, 2003 on Sci Fi. The seventh season concluded after 22 episodes on March 9, 2004 on British Sky One, which overtook the Sci-Fi Channel in mid-season. The series was developed by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner. Season seven regular cast members include Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Michael Shanks, and Don S. Davis.

Production

With "Fallen", Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) rejoins the cast, and Corin Nemec (Jonas Quinn) gets billed as a "Guest Star" (besides "Fallen"/"Homecoming", he would have his only other guest appearance later in "Fallout"). George Touliatos previously played Pyrus, Shyla's father, in "Need." The scenes with the Goa'uld motherships flying in hyperspace are actually stock footage from the Season 2 episode "The Serpent's Lair." Director Martin Wood has a cameo in "Fallen" as the man in the elevator with Jonas at the beginning of the episode. Peter DeLuise, who directed "Fragile Balance", provided the voice of Loki in the same episode. Christopher Heyerdahl, who played Pallan in "Revisions", would later play the recurring characters of Halling and the Wraith 'Todd' on Stargate Atlantis. Peter LaCroix previously played the Ashrak in "In the Line of Duty".
