HGC

HGC can stand for:

HGC (field hockey)

H.O.C. Gazellen-Combinatie, also known as HGC, is a field hockey club located in Wassenaar on the border of The Hague in the Netherlands. The club was founded on 22 September 1906.

The first teams (men and women) competed for many years on the highest level of the Dutch field hockey league, in the "Hoofdklasse". In 1995/'96 both the men's and the women's first team won the national championship. The men's 1st XI also compete in the Euro Hockey League.

HGC has produced a number of internationals for the Dutch national teams as well as attracting a number of internationals from other countries.

Hercules Graphics Card Plus

The Hercules Graphics Card Plus (HGC+) was an IBM PC compatible graphics controller card released in June 1986 by Hercules Computer Technology, Inc. It was based on the previous Hercules Graphics Card (HGC) and added support for redefinable fonts called RAMFONT in MDA compatible text mode.

Software support included Lotus 1-2-3 v2, Symphony 1.1, Framework II and Microsoft Word 3.

Original retail price was $299.

A variant of the Hercules Graphics Card Plus with on-board network adapter was available as Hercules Network Card Plus in 1988.

Hardware details

Hercules Graphics Card Plus is an 8-bit ISA card, containing the display controller and a printer port.
