Guillermo Castro
Guillermo Castro (b. 1810 d. ?) was the son of Carlos Antonio Castro of Rancho San Francisco de las Llagas, near Coyote, California in Santa Clara County. He was a soldier, rancher, surveyor, and magistrate in his lifetime.
Biography
Castro was a career soldier and lieutenant of the militia in the Mexican army, posted to the Pueblo of San José. He also worked as a surveyor for the government (listed as such in 1838). Three years later, in 1841, Governor Juan Alvarado granted Castro 26,722 acres (108 km2) as a reward for service. The grant, called Rancho San Lorenzo, included much of what is today Castro Valley, Hayward, and San Lorenzo.
Soon after receiving his land grant, Castro married Luisa Peralta of the Rancho San Antonio (owned by Luís María Peralta, possibly Luisa's father). The young couple received 300 cattle as a wedding gift. As a rancher, Castro added 4000 sheep and 500 horses, and in the next 7 years, 7 children. The adobe home of the couple was discovered years later beneath the foundation of the old Hayward city hall.

Guillermo Castro Martín (born 11 November 1973) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a defender.
Football career
Born in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Castro spent the vast majority of his ten-year professional career with hometown clubs UD Las Palmas and Universidad de Las Palmas CF. He helped the former promote to Segunda División in 1996, making his debut in the competition on 31 August of that year by playing 45 minutes in a 0–0 away draw against UD Almería; on 2 November, he was sent off in a 2–1 home win over FC Barcelona B.
At the end of 1999–2000, Castro also won promotion with Universidad – a first ever – appearing in 35 games the following season in an immediate relegation. He split the 2001–02 campaign between Elche CF (second level) and AD Ceuta (Segunda División B).
Castro retired in 2004 at the age of 30, after a second spell with both Universidad and Las Palmas and following relegation from the second tier with the latter.

Guillermo Antonio Castro Orellana (born 25 June 1940 in San Salvador) is a retired footballer from El Salvador.
Club career
Nicknamed el Loro (the Parrot), he has most notably played for local side Atlético Marte, with whom he made his debut in 1960. He has also had spells at UES and Juventud Independiente.
International career
Castro represented his country at the 1968 Summer Olympics, in five FIFA World Cup qualification matches and at the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.
Retirement
He has been involved with El Salvador's coaches association for 30 years and has also managed league sides Independiente de San Vicente, Chalatenango and Atlético Marte.
