Guano

Guano (via Spanish, ultimately from the Quechua wanu) is the excrement of seabirds, cave-dwelling bats, pinnipeds, or (in English usage) birds in general.<ref name=""h2g2">"Seabird Guano and Bat Dung". 2004-11-25. Retrieved 2013-05-11. </ref> As a manure, guano is a highly effective fertilizer due to its exceptionally high content of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium: nutrients essential for plant growth. The 19th-century guano trade played a pivotal role in the development of modern input-intensive farming practices and inspired the formal human colonization of remote bird islands in many parts of the world. During the twentieth century, guano-producing birds became an important target of conservation programs and influenced the development of environmental consciousness. Today, guano is increasingly sought after by organic farmers.

Composition

Seabird guano consists of nitrogen-rich ammonium oxalate and urate, phosphates, as well as some earth salts and impurities. Unleached guano from favored locales, such as the Chincha Islands off the coast of Peru, typically contains 8 to 16 percent nitrogen (the majority of which is uric acid), 8 to 12 percent equivalent phosphoric acid, and 2 to 3 percent equivalent potash. The fresh excrement of insect-eating bats can have nitrogen levels approximating that of seabird guano and high phosphate levels, but bat guano typically has less fertilizing value than seabird guano from arid areas because its nitrogen content is more easily leached within cave environments.

Guano (disambiguation)

Guano is the accumulated excrement of seabirds or bats, often mined as a source of phosphorus.

    Mikey Simon

    Voiced by: Michael Sinterniklaas

Mikey Simon is the main character of the show. He comes from the United States of America, but won a contest to appear on the LilyMu show in Tokyo, Japan. Mikey is somewhat egotistical and self-centered. He is oblivious to the world around him unless it gets him his way, and will do anything to get what he wants. His plans that often get him into trouble.

    Gonard

    Voiced by: Sean Schemmel

Gonard plays the part of LilyMu's main antagonist, a purple-skinned, blue-haired creature set on either domination or destruction. In reality, Gonard is actually a sweet-natured young man who is friends with Mikey and appears to be ignorant and dim-witted. As opposed to the purple skin of his LilyMu character, Gonard actually possesses a more natural skin tone, albeit like Mitsuki, his hair is actually blue. He is the tallest of the LilyMu cast members.

    (Album: The Game, 1980)
    "Yeah
    Hey hey hey
No I'll never look back in anger
No I'll never find me an answer
You promised me, you'd keep in touch
I read your letter and it hurt me so much
I said I'd never, never be angry with you
I don't wanna feel like a stranger (no)
'Cos I'd rather stay out of danger
I read your letter so many times
I got your meaning between the lines
I said I'd never, never be angry with you
I must be strong so she won't know how much I miss her
I only hope as time goes on I'll forget her
My body's aching, can't sleep at night
I'm too exhausted to start a fight
And if I see her with another guy
I'll eat my heart out 'cos I love, love, love, love her
Come on baby, let's get together
I'll love you baby, I'll love you forever
I'm trying hard to stay away
What made you change, what did I say ?
Ooh I need your loving tonight
    Ooh I need your loving
    Ooh I need your loving
Ooh I need your loving babe tonight (Hit me)
Ooh I need your loving tonight
No I'll never look back in anger
No I'll never find me an answer
Gave me no warning, how could I guess
I'll have to learn to forgive and forget
    Ooh I need your loving
    Ooh I need your loving
