Grimm is an American police procedural fantasy television drama series. It debuted in the U.S. on NBC on October 28, 2011. The show has been described as "a cop drama—with a twist... a dark and fantastical project about a world in which characters inspired by Grimms' Fairy Tales exist", although the stories and characters inspiring the show are also drawn from other sources.
On February 5, 2015, NBC confirmed a fifth season for Grimm, which premiered on Friday, October 30, 2015.
Homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Department learns he is descended from a line of guardians known as Grimms, charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world called Wesen, the German word for being or creature. Throughout the series, he must battle against an assortment of dangerous creatures, with help from his reformed Wesen friend Monroe, and his partner Detective Hank Griffin.
Opening: "There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true. Only he could see what no one else can—the darkness inside...the real monster within...and he's the one who must stop them. This is his calling. This is his duty. This is the life of a Grimm."
Grimm is an American dark fantasy crime drama television series created by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf. It debuted on NBC on October 28, 2011. The series follows homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) who learns that he is a descendant of a group of hunters known as "Grimms", who fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. As of February 12, 2016, 97 episodes of Grimm have aired.
David Czarra Giuntoli (born June 18, 1980) is an American actor. He is best known for the lead role of Detective Nick Burkhardt in the NBC supernatural drama Grimm. He co-starred in the 2016 Michael Bay film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
Giuntoli was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Mary and David Giuntoli. He is of Italian (father) and Polish and German (mother) descent. He was raised in Huntleigh, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. He admits to not being very athletic as a child. In an Access Hollywood interview Giuntoli stated "I was like three feet shorter than I am now until I was a sophomore in high school. But I had the same sized head and ass as I do now. I was an awkward little fellow. In high school I started gravitating a little toward acting." After graduating from St. Louis University High School in 1998, he attended Indiana University Bloomington, earning a bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance in 2002.
Giuntoli returned to St. Louis after college. However his heart was in being an entertainer instead of a career in finance, something his family realized early on as he always enjoyed making people laugh from a young age. Reconnecting with his high school theater teacher, he began taking acting lessons locally. His first career break came in 2003 when he was discovered by talent scouts for MTV and cast in the networks reality series Road Rules: South Pacific. The three-month adventure in the South Pacific, and a subsequent appearance on the seventh season of Real World/Road Rules Challenge provided the resources to pay off his college debt and further cemented his decision to pursue acting as a full-time career.
Russell Hornsby (born May 15, 1974) is an American theater, television, and film actor. He is best known for his roles as Eddie Sutton on ABC Family's Lincoln Heights, as Luke on the HBO drama In Treatment and as Detective Hank Griffin on the NBC series Grimm.
Hornsby was born in Oakland, California. He was a football player at St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley, California. He auditioned for a spring musical and got the role of the Scarecrow in The Wiz. After that, he became very interested in theatre and acting and was highly involved with the rest of the school theatrical productions. After graduating he studied theater at Boston University from which he graduated with a degree in performance. After graduation, Hornsby continued his studies at the British American Drama Academy.
After finishing his studies at Oxford, Hornsby moved to New York City and was subsequently cast in leading roles in Off Broadway productions of To Kill a Mockingbird (as Atticus Finch), Joe Louis Blues, and Six Degrees of Separation (as Paul). In the late 1990s, he decided to move to Los Angeles in order to transition into television and film. He has appeared in several different television productions including appearing in recurring roles in Haunted as Detective Marcus Bradshaw and Gideon's Crossing as Chief Resident Dr. Aaron Boise. His other television credits include Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order, and In Justice among others. He also played running back Leon Taylor in ESPN's drama series Playmakers. On the big screen, he has appeared in such films as After the Sunset, Big Fat Liar, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Keep the Faith, Baby, Meet the Parents, and Stuck among others. In 2000, Hornsby appeared in the Off-Broadway production of Jitney for which he won a Drama Desk Award and an Obie Award.
Elizabeth "Bitsie" Andrea Tulloch (born January 19, 1981) is an American actress.
Tulloch was born in San Diego, California, but grew up in Spain, Uruguay, and Argentina. "Bitsie" is not a contraction of Tulloch's given name, Elizabeth, but a homage to her oddly nicknamed grandfather, a World War II bomber pilot. Her father, Andrew Tulloch, works in Latin American banking, which is why she grew up abroad. After returning to the U.S., she went to middle and high school in Bedford, New York. Tulloch graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a double major in English and American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies. Tulloch is of Scottish descent on her father's side and Spanish descent on her mother's.
Tulloch played Marilyn Sitzman, a witness to the Kennedy assassination, in the star-studded 2013 film Parkland opposite Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton, Marcia Gay Harden, Jackie Weaver, Jackie Earle Haley, and Zac Efron. The film was produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman of Playtone. It was released in November 2013 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination.
[Grimm:]
Me and myself

Alright
How it is, dawg
Know what we do
Smash that trash
Come on, now
Here it go
[Verse 1:]
I put my money where my mouth is
Still they wanna doubt this
Actin' like, they don't know where the dirty south is
I'm out this bitch, so
That's what I claim
Got my glock and my clips, now, I'm back in the game
It's exactly the same as
When ya man left
Straight from the scene of the game Grand Theft
Now the same last breath'll be the one that'll save ya
Angel dumb blast all the rest of ya fables
Labels
All in your business
Askin'
Who was the man just smashin' ya trash
Fasten your seatbelt, it's about to get rough
Don't gamble, don't bet
Don't call my bluff
[Pre-Chorus 1: Grimm (Grimm & Uchie)]
I'm on my cut, just countin' my cash
If you come short, gotta (Smash that trash)
Lookin' at a lady, said, "You got a nice ass"
She smiled right back, had to (Smash that trash)
Smokin' on a sweet, but my boy wouldn't pass
You ain't a quarterback, gotta (Smash that trash)
Don't make me pull my gun out for pumpin' out my blast
Johnny, tell 'em what I do (Smash that trash)
[Chorus: Grimm & Uchie]
Chitty-chitty
Bang, bang
Smash that trash, keep it gangsta, mayne
Chitty-chitty
Bang, bang
Smash that trash, keep it gangsta, mayne
[Chorus]
[Verse 2:]
I've been grinding on 'em lately
Lining up the ladies
Looking at these labels where they findin' all these maybe's
Fade me
Naw, they don't even wanna try
Let them boys piss me off, put the bullet in the dot
Been a fooler than a rock, jump off in the pen
To the free on the streets
That's the cost for the wind
Not the boss, but the man that could make this shit happen
They gon' sit and blast til I say, "Quit cappin'
Actin' a fool
Do what you do
Slow down, screw, " put my shoe on the fool
Thought you knew on the crew out the Houston, Texas
And soon, I'm a prove how them dudes is reckless
[Pre-Chorus 2: Grimm (Grimm & Uchie)]
Cruise my Lexus
Lights go to flash
Punchin' it quick, gotta (Smash that trash)
Talkin' to a friend, wrong questions asked
You can't think twice (Smash that trash)
You been doin' this, how long will it last
If it's lookin' bad, just (Smash that trash)
I'm a thug in the club, and the clique wanna clash
Johnny, tell 'em what I do (Smash that trash)
[Chorus x2]
[Verse 3:]
Now it's not like you don't know
How it's 'bout to go
Smash that trash, kick they ass up out the door
Get the stash, I got the flow, puttin' paper in my pocket
Dunkin' on 'em, somethin' like a player from the Rockets
Makin' all my profits
Lacin' it, properly
Meanwhile, I'm spittin' while your girl on top of me
Got to be, crazy
But that's me
You fool fugazi, I'm still that G
[Pre-Chorus 3: Grimm (Grimm & Uchie)]
If the kill pass me, and it be out my stash
Best believe, I'm a trip to (Smash that trash)
Get ya trick, ride home, drinkin' drunk, 'bout to crash
If I live through that, 'bout to (Smash that trash)
Then you got yourself involved, got a gun, got a mask
The only thing left is to (Smash that trash)
When you caught up in the cross, and ya boys don't act fast
Johnny, tell 'em what I do (Smash that trash)
[Chorus x2]
[Grimm:]
Come on...
