Greg Berlanti
Greg Berlanti (born May 24, 1972) is an American film and television writer, producer and director.
He is well known for his work on the television series Dawson's Creek, Everwood, Political Animals, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
Career
He got his start in television as a writer and executive producer on Dawson's Creek before going on to create two of The WB's most critically acclaimed dramas, Everwood and Jack & Bobby.
He created and produced the ABC legal drama Eli Stone and the USA family drama Political Animals.
He directed the 2010 film Life As We Know It, starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel, and produced Pan for Warner Bros. under his Berlanti Productions banner. The was released October 9, 2015. He also produces The Mysteries of Laura, an American adaptation of the Spanish television series, for NBC.

Film
Berlanti co-wrote and co-produced the DC Comics film Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds as the titular character. His work on the film led to many more collaborations with the comic book titan, including involvement in a planned Flash movie he is said to direct and co-write, that is tentatively scheduled for release in 2018.
