Greater than 60

The >60 (Greater than 60) Design Centre was set up in January 2008 as Singapore's National Design Centre for Ageing. Supported by Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), SPRING Singapore and Temasek Polytechnic, the Centre generates products and services that will improve the lifestyle quality of the emerging ageing population.

Functions

>60 Design Centre generates ideas and research for development and commercialisation. It also provides design consultation to develop products for the elderly. The design centre organises seminars, workshops and conferences to generate public and industry interest in designing for elderly.

Design Process

The Centre’s design process includes market study and research, concept development, testing of concepts, prototyping, product analysis and evaluation and final review by the relevant authorities.

  • Inequality (mathematics)

In mathematics, an inequality is a relation that holds between two values when they are different (see also: equality).

  • The notation ab means that a is not equal to b.
  • It does not say that one is greater than the other, or even that they can be compared in size.

If the values in question are elements of an ordered set, such as the integers or the real numbers, they can be compared in size.

  • The notation a < b means that a is less than b.
  • The notation a > b means that a is greater than b.
  • In either case, a is not equal to b. These relations are known as strict inequalities. The notation a < b may also be read as "a is strictly less than b".

In contrast to strict inequalities, there are two types of inequality relations that are not strict:

  • The notation ab means that a is less than or equal to b (or, equivalently, not greater than b, or at most b).
  • The notation ab means that a is greater than or equal to b (or, equivalently, not less than b, or at least b).
  • An additional use of the notation is to show that one quantity is much greater than another, normally by several orders of magnitude.

    Greater Than

    by: Riley Armstrong

Our god is bigger than the mountains and
His love is deeper than the oceans
    For us. he loves us...
Our god is creator of the heavens and
His love reaches down to where we are. over you...
    He is greater than
    Than when the stars fall
    Than when the earth shakes
    He is greater than
    Than a sunrise
    Than a blue sky
    He is greater than
The surface we are scratching is a fraction
Of a corner of an eyelash is the love in his eye.
Our god sends the rain to fill the river flow,
His love is brighter than a rainbow
    For us... he loves us.
Our god can bend around the speed of sound and
His love rings down to where we are. over you...
    He is greater than
    Than when the stars fall
    Than when the earth shakes
    He is greater than
    Than a sunrise
    Than a blue sky
    He is greater than
The surface we are scratching is a fraction
Of a corner of an eyelash is the love in his eye
    Than when the stars falls
    Than when the earth splits
Than a free fall than a moon eclipse
