Grant Turner

Grant John Turner (born 7 October 1958 in New Zealand) was an association football player who represented New Zealand 42 times in A-internationals from 1980 to 1988, scoring 14 goals. A midfielder with an aggressive playing style, Turner was a no nonsense ball winner and runner who had an eye for goal. He was capable of playing in attack if called upon to do so.

Turner was a member of the All Whites at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain, where they lost all 3 group games to Scotland, USSR and Brazil, but did not play in the finals due to an injury sustained soon after arrival in Spain.

Grant Turner (swimmer)

Grant James Turner (born 11 March 1989 in Swindon) is a British swimmer. He competed for Great Britain in the 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Upon retirement from competitive swimming, Grant formed the Joanne Jackson Swim Academy with his partner Olympic swimmer Joanne Jackson. The Swim Academy offers the opportunity for all to develop their swimming skills with two former Olympic swimmers.
