    Gorgeous (808 State album)

    Gorgeous is the fourth album of the band 808 State, released in 1993 on ZTT Records in the UK and Tommy Boy Records in the US. In October 2008, the album was reissued on ZTT Records including Chapter 3 of journalist Ian Peel's The 808 Story and an additional bonus disk containing 14 remixed tracks, including an unreleased edit of the song "Bombadin".

    Reception

    Select gave the album a three out of five rating, stating that it is "never more nor less than 'interesting'." and concluding that "the weaknesses of over-familiarity are fully apparent" and "too often leaves you wanting more"

    Gorgeous (film)

    Gorgeous (Chinese: 玻璃樽; Jyutping: bo1 lei4 zeon1) is a 1999 Hong Kong action romantic comedy film written and directed by Vincent Kok who played Lo's assistant, and also written and produced by Jackie Chan, who also starred in the film. The film co-stars Shu Qi, Tony Leung and Emil Chau.

    Plot

    Bu (Shu Qi) is a beautiful young girl from a small Taiwanese fishing village who discovers a romantic message in a bottle. She heads for Hong Kong to find its writer, only to learn that it was in fact written by Albert (Tony Leung Chiu Wai), a lonely gay man. She, however, meets the wealthy recycling company owner, C.N. (Jackie Chan) who falls in love with her; but the plot is soon thickened by rival businessmen, hired goons, and Bu's confused would be boyfriend.
