Jimmy Eat World discography

The discography of Jimmy Eat World, an American rock band, consists of eight studio albums, fifteen singles, seven extended plays, three live albums, one compilation album, and one video album.

History

Jimmy Eat World formed in 1993 and released their debut EP, entitled One, Two, Three, Four, in 1994 on Wooden Blue Records; their debut self-titled studio album Jimmy Eat World was released later that year on the same label. The band then signed a record contract with Capitol Records and released Static Prevails in 1996, while also concurrently releasing a series of split 7-inch singles and a cassette with other bands, such as Less Than Jake,Sense Field, and Mineral. In 1999, Jimmy Eat World released their third album Clarity, which peaked at number 47 on the German Albums Chart and number 30 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.

The band's commercial breakthrough occurred in 2001 with the release of several singles from their fourth studio album Bleed American. Four singles from the album charted within the top 20 of the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, while "The Middle" and "Sweetness" respectively peaked at number one and number two; "The Middle" also peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Bleed American was certified platinum in Canada and America, and silver in the United Kingdom.

Good to Go (Terrorvision album)

Good To Go is Terrorvision's final studio album, prior to their breakup in 2001. The sound of this album continues the band's musical evolution, with more electronic instruments and effects than previous albums. D'ya Wanna Go Faster was released as the first single, entering the singles chart at number 28 on February 21, 2001 for one week. Fists Of Fury was going to be released as the second single but instead was only sold as a limited edition blue vinyl release by the distributor.

Good to Go (film)

Good to Go (also known as Short Fuse) is a 1986 film directed by Blaine Novak, starring Art Garfunkel as a Washington, D.C. journalist who struggles to clear his name after being framed for rape and murder.

Soundtrack

The film's soundtrack is rooted in the regional genre of go-go music, including a title song by Trouble Funk. To this day, Good to Go enjoys a cult following among go-go fans.

Good to Go marked a return to form for 7 Seconds, owing more to the sound of their 1980s hardcore sound than the new wave and pop they had produced in the late 80s and early 90s. It is their first record for Side One Dummy.

Good To Go!

Good To Go! is the electronic toll collection system used by the Washington State Department of Transportation on all current and future toll projects in the state of Washington. Good To Go! customers prepay their tolls into an account, the tolls are then electronically deducted as the customer passes through an electronic toll collection location. The system debuted in July 2007 on the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge and is a part of the high-occupancy toll (HOT) lanes on State Route 167, which opened in the spring of 2008. All-electronic tolling began on the SR 520 Bridge on December 29, 2011. The Good To Go! system is similar to other electronic tolling technology already in place around the country such as FasTrak in California and E-ZPass in the eastern United States.

Fares

Drivers may set up a pre-paid Good To Go! account, with a pre-paid balance of $30, by purchasing and activating a Good To Go! Pass that affixes to their vehicle. Drivers may choose from among five types of Good To Go! passes depending on their needs. Currently Good To Go! is available for use on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, the SR 167 High-occupancy toll lanes, the SR 520/Evergreen Point Floating Bridge and on the I-405 HOT lanes. When using the Tacoma Narrows Bridge with Good To Go!, the price for a passenger car $4.50; if paying with cash or a credit card, the toll for a passenger car is $5.50; If using Pay by Mail, the passenger car rate is $6.50. Tolls on SR 167 are variable and must be paid by using Good To Go!. Tolls on the SR 520 bridge are variable depending on time of day.
