"Oblivion" is a song by British band Bastille from their 2013 album Bad Blood. It was released digitally in the UK on 5 September 2014 as the eighth overall and final single from the album. A limited edition 7-inch vinyl edition of the single, featuring the previously unreleased track "bad_news" as the B-side, was also released on 8 September.
The song was featured on an episode of the television series The Vampire Diaries in 2012.
The band confirmed during their headline set at London’s Somerset House on July 15 that "Oblivion" will be the next single from Bad Blood.
The music video was exclusively premiered on MSN Music UK on Monday July 21. It was later published through Bastille's Vevo channel on YouTube the same day. The video was directed by Austin Peters (who previously directed the band's "Flaws" and "Laura Palmer" music videos) and stars actress Sophie Turner (known for her role in the television series Game of Thrones). She is seen lip-syncing to the lyrics of the song, singing in front of a crowd of people at a demolition derby.
Bad News is the self-titled debut album from British heavy metal group Bad News released in October 1987 by EMI. The album features a cover of the famous Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody" and was produced by Queen's guitarist Brian May. "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released as a single and had a music video created for it, written and directed by Adrian Edmondson, who portrays Vim Fuego in the group. The video was released as a video single by Picture Music International. In 2004, EMI re-released the album with a re-ordered track listing and with additions of tracks derived from the group's follow-up album The Cash In Compilation.

"The Seinfeld Chronicles" (also known as "Good News, Bad News" or "Pilot") is the pilot episode of the American sitcom Seinfeld, which first aired on NBC on July 5, 1989.
The first of the 180 Seinfeld episodes, the pilot was written by show creators Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, and directed by Art Wolff. The episode revolves around a fictionalized version of Seinfeld, who is unsure about the romantic intentions of a woman he met, and frets about the meaning of her signals with his friend George (Jason Alexander) and neighbor Kessler (Michael Richards).
Though they had been asked to put together a 90-minute TV special, Seinfeld and David wrote a TV pilot as they felt their "show about nothing" concept would fit better in a shorter format. The storyline, and the main characters, were inspired by real-life events and people. Though the NBC executives were unsure about the show, they, as Warren Littlefield would later state, "all said, ah what the hell, let's try a pilot on this thing and see what happens". The test audiences, however, reacted extremely negatively. Although NBC would still broadcast the episode to see how audiences and TV critics would react, the network had already decided not to pick up the show, as a result of the test-results.
Good News is the first album of Christmas music released by American country music artist Kathy Mattea. It was released in late 1993 on Mercury Records. "Mary, Did You Know?" and "What a Wonderful Beginning" were both covered by Kenny Rogers (the former, as a duet with Wynonna Judd) on his 1996 Christmas album The Gift. "Brightest and Best" is the only traditional song covered here.
Good News is a musical with a book by Laurence Schwab and B.G. DeSylva, lyrics by DeSylva and Lew Brown, and music by Ray Henderson. The story is set in the Roaring Twenties at Tait College, where football star Tom Marlowe falls in love with studious Connie Lane, who is tutoring him so he can pass astronomy and be eligible to play in the big game.
The show opened on Broadway in 1927, the same year as Show Boat, but though its plot was decidedly old-fashioned in comparison to Show Boat's daring storyline, it was also a hit. Good News spawned two films, an unsuccessful 1974 Broadway revival, and a 1993 updated production by Music Theatre of Wichita, which made numerous changes to the score, adding such numbers as "Keep Your Sunny Side Up", "Button Up Your Overcoat", "You're the Cream in My Coffee" and "Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries". It has since been licensed for use by amateur groups. It proved to be DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson's biggest hit out of a string of topical musicals.
Good News is a 1930 American musical film based on the 1927 stage production of the same name. It was directed by Nick Grinde. The cast included Bessie Love, Cliff Edwards and Penny Singleton. The film was shot in black-and-white, although the finale was in Multicolor. The surviving print lacks the finale; no footage is known to survive.
By the 1940s, the original was not shown in the United States due to its Pre-Code content, which included sexual innuendo and lewd suggestive humor. Another film based on the musical, also called Good News, was released in 1947.

Dead inside your blood brother
When your hand for help reaches out

Now where the fuck of how we is as individuals
We raise wrong
Politics and poverty got us head strong

Don't get cut into hundreds over some dumb shit
I advise you to run quick cuz we run this

Put MCs on they death beads
Either that or leavin' 'em walking on peg legs
In various locations

You want suspense? It's endless
How I massacre crews
Leave you solo and friendless
Contact lens less then lifeless

Or rock a mic with
Carry a knife with
Da Brigade on the night shift
Pack this big dick that I use to fuck your wife with
You ain't the nicest
Derelicts with intelligence
Leaving your grill wide open like pelicans
Just wait

Til it snap your neck brace
And crack your chest plate
You studies wanna job like assets
Rough is ready to start teaching niggas
In ass whippin' classes
Breaking glasses

Shit talking like Cassius
Get in your E-Class and dash bitch

The only man that can expand the cervix
With the tip of my bone
Get in your girl and keep fucking
Until she starts screaming "Leave me alone"
Walking predacone
Looking for weak grade to set it on
From dusk til dawn I bomb
Went through hell and remain calm
The devils to stir us to fight me
Just to see what type of shit that I was on
Those bastards is why they got burnt
And turned into crisp XXXXX
With lyrics hotter than lava comes
It's urgent
That she splurge with
Before I merge with
Kuniva will make ya nerves emerge and split
Heard me bitch
You weren't worthy with the mic
Is why I snatch it
And people think and praise with words that I like
With things that I say on you
You need someone to spar with
Put you in the back of my trunk
Get in my car trick
Running with nothing but thugs
With the fug
We more dangerous than L.A. cops with big clubs
Who's arresting you when you're drunk
You sick munk
Spitting up bills scriptures and gumps
Till you punks get the picture

I make it my business
Twenty four seven to try and stick it
Gotta get it
I gotta give it to you non-stop
Bombs drop lyrical warfare we onslaught
Dead bodies rot
We making your body rock
Licking them off like lollipops

Packing heaters to make you thank quick
