Good Life (Kanye West song)

"Good Life" is a song by American hip-hop artist Kanye West. It was released on October 2, 2007 as the third single for his third studio album Graduation. The song was produced by West and DJ Toomp and contains a sample of the keyboard outro to "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" as performed by Michael Jackson. "Good Life" also has additional drum programming and additional production by Timbaland and Mike Dean, respectively. The track features R&B singer and rapper T-Pain as well as background vocals provided by John Legend and Ne-Yo. "Good Life" managed to enter charts prior to actually being released as a single and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song at the 50th Grammy Awards. The single has since sold over two million copies in the United States and has been certified double platinum.

Chart performance

"Good Life" debuted at number sixty-three on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs during the chart week of September 22, 2007, where it eventually peaked at number three, becoming West's second top ten single from Graduation on the chart. For the chart week of September 29, 2007, "Good Life" was the "Hot Shot Debut" of the week on the Billboard Hot 100, as it entered at number fourteen due to strong digital downloads. The song climbed to the seventh position, becoming West's second consecutive top ten Hot 100 single from Graduation as well as T-Pain's sixth top ten single. "Good Life" debuted on the Canadian Hot 100 at number thirty-nine and has peaked at number twenty-three. The single generated a strong reaction from the MuchMusic Countdown, where it reached number-one. "Good Life" was able to enter at number thirty-three on the UK Singles Chart before it was officially released in the UK until November 5, 2007. Upon its release, the single was able to rise and peak at the twenty-third position on the chart.

The company operates two offshoot brands: Abercrombie Kids and Hollister Co., in addition to two brands, Ruehl No.925 and Gilly Hicks, that closed in early 2010 and 2015, respectively.

Abercrombie & Fitch is notable for using "brand representatives" (previously called "models") for store customer service. Its main competitors are Aéropostale and American Eagle Outfitters. Its younger subsidiary, Abercrombie Kids, competes with Aéropostale's P.S., and American Eagle Outfitters's 77kids. Founded in 1892 in the Manhattan borough of New York City, New York, by David T. Abercrombie and Ezra Fitch, Abercrombie & Fitch was an elite outfitter of sporting and excursion goods, particularly noted for its expensive shotguns, fishing rods, fishing boats, and tents. In 1976, Abercrombie & Fitch filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, finally closing its flagship store at Madison Avenue and East 45th Street in 1977.

A.F. (band)

A.F. is a punk rock band located in the canton Valais / Switzerland.

Biography

The band was founded in 1992 and was first called Allpot Futsch. There have been no changes to the lineup. In the beginning, A.F. was only known in the local region of Naters and the Oberwallis (German for: upper part of the canton Valais). The first edition (500 copies) of their debut album Now you have the salad was soon sold out and a second release had to be pressed.

Four years later on February 3, 2001, A.F. published their second studio album named till the end. In July 2003, the third studio album parcel from hibernation was finished. A.F. - Songs on Snowboarmovies with several 10,000 copies, as well as parts on different national and international samplers increased the band's publicity.

The band made the biggest step forward in 2005. A.F. had the exceptional chance (for a European Band) to have their new album not alone be produced, recorded and mixed by Ryan Greene (producer of NOFX, Lagwagon, No Use for a Name ...) at the "Crush Recording" studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Brad Vance at the Red Mastering Studio in Hollywood took care about the sound mastering.
