Good Feeling may refer to:
Good Feeling is the debut album from Scottish alternative rock band Travis. The album was originally released on 26 September 1997, on Independiente Records.
In 2000, the album was re-released, with the only differences being new album artwork and a slightly-tweaked version of "More Than Us". The album itself has a much more up-beat and 'rockier' sound than their subsequent releases, and is often regarded as one of their best.
Once set up in London the band spent between nine months and a year recording new songs. The band played their first London show at the famous Dublin Castle in Camden. With around twenty good songs ready they then approached managers Colin Lester and Ian McAndrew of Wildlife Entertainment who then introduced the band to Andy MacDonald, owner of Go! Discs Records and founder of Independiente Records. Sensing greatness, he negotiated with Wildlife Entertainment and signed Travis for a reputed £100,000 of his own money. The band is signed to MacDonald personally, not to the label—if MacDonald ever leaves the Sony-financed label Independiente Records, the band goes with him (commonly referred to in the industry as a "golden handcuffs" clause).
"Good Feeling" is a song by American rapper Flo Rida from his fourth studio album, Wild Ones. It was released as the album's lead single on August 29, 2011 in the United States. The song was written by Flo Rida, Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Breyan Isaac, Arash Pournouri, Avicii, Etta James, Leroy Kirkland, and Pearl Woods. It was also produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut.
The song contains vocal samples from Etta James's 1962 single "Something's Got a Hold on Me", which is why James, Leroy Kirkland, and Pearl Woods received writing credits. Avicii and Arash Pournouri received credits as well because Avicii's song "Levels", which also sampled the Etta James song, is used as the primary musical sample under Flo Rida's rapping. In addition, this is Flo Rida's fourth collaboration with Dr. Luke (after "Right Round", "Touch Me", and "Who Dat Girl"), and second collaboration with Cirkut (after "Who Dat Girl"). The three would next collaborate with Taio Cruz on the song "Hangover".
"Good Feeling" has peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Flo Rida's sixth top-10 and fourth top-five single on the chart. The song became a top ten hit in 16 countries. This song is the second track on Now 42.
