Go for It (song)

"Go For It" was a single released by the English football team Coventry City to commemorate reaching the 1987 FA Cup Final. It reached number 61 in the UK Singles Chart. In contrast, Tottenham Hotspur, whom Coventry defeated in the final, reached number 18 with their single "Hot Shot Tottenham!"

Go4It

Go4It was a British children's magazine programme broadcast on Sunday evenings at 7.15pm on BBC Radio 4, and one of the few speech-based shows on British national radio aimed at younger listeners. It was broadcast between 2001 and 2009.

History

Children's radio had been provided by Listen with Mother from 1950 to 1982. In the early 1990s there were Children's BBC radio serials on BBC Radio 5. When that station closed in 1994 CBBC serials moved to Radio 4 on Sundays from 7 to 7.30pm until Easter 1998 when it was replaced by another episode of The Archers.

"Go4It" started in 2001 and was originally produce by Jo Daykin and hosted by Matt Smith and included Cromarty the space cat and many jokes. Smith was replaced one year later by CBBC presenter Barney Harwood on 5 May 2002. With Harwood's arrival the show became less patronising with the theme tune changed to Danger Man. When Harwood was off on holiday there were guest presenters like Kirsten O'Brien, Natalie Barrass and David McFetridge.

Go for It (film)

Go for It (Italian: Nati con la camicia) is a 1983 Italian comedy film and spy movie parody starring Terence Hill and Bud Spencer.

Plot

The charming dodger Rosco Frazer and the recently released convict Doug O’Riordan meet each other during a rough brawl in a roadhouse. After this they drive off in a truck, each one thinking of the other as the trucker. Not long afterwards a highway patrol stops them for speeding, and since they cannot produce proper papers, they are mistaken for truck-jackers the police has been looking for. Thanks to Rosco being a ventriloquist however, they are able to get away.

Doug would rather run off alone but can't get rid of Rosco. Together they drive to the airport in order to go into hiding there. Since the flight to Miami is already booked up, they pose as Steinberg and Mason who had just been called for on the speaker. They get their tickets, not knowing their original purchasers are two CIA top agents; as such, they are given a suitcase containing one million dollars to transport. After various mishaps and entanglements they are taken to the CIA headquarters to meet "Tiger", their new boss. There they are asked on several occasions to omit various embarrassing incidents, which would cast a bad light on the CIA staff involved, from their final report.

Go for It (Shalamar album)

Go for It is the fifth album by American R&B group Shalamar, released in 1981 on the SOLAR label. The album features the 'classic' Shalamar line-up (Jeffrey Daniel, Howard Hewett and Jody Watley).

Daniel has confirmed that Go For It and Friends were recorded at the same time. For distribution purposes, SOLAR was in the process of leaving RCA Records and joining Elektra Records, but still owed a final Shalamar album to RCA: Go for It was that album, while Friends became the first to be delivered to WEA. Go for It received indifferent promotion from RCA, and the garish cover-art was also the subject of negative comment. Only one single ("Sweeter as the Days Go By") was issued, and the album peaked at #18 on the R&B chart and #115 on the Billboard chart.

In 2002, Go for It was re-released by Sanctuary Records in the United Kingdom in a Double CD package with Friends.
