Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing, and pressing fibers.

Felt were an alternative rock band founded in Birmingham, England in 1979 and led by the mononymous Lawrence. The band's name was inspired by Tom Verlaine's emphasis of the word "felt" in the Television song "Venus". They existed for ten years, throughout the 1980s, during which time they released ten singles and ten albums.
Felt have been cited as an influence by Belle & Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch and Tim Burgess of The Charlatans, as well as by alternative rock bands Manic Street Preachers,Girls, and The Tyde. Their song "Sunlight Bathed the Golden Glow" was featured in the 2015 film The End of the Tour.
The band is not to be confused with the American early 1970s psychedelic rock band of the same name.
Lawrence established Felt in 1979 with the release of the single "Index", a self-published solo recording. A noisy effort unlike Felt's subsequent records, it was later awarded single of the week by Dave McCullough in music paper Sounds.
With Lawrence on vocals and guitar, the band was formed properly in 1980 with the addition of schoolfriend Nick Gilbert (on drums) and local guitarist Maurice Deebank. Becoming co-writer with Lawrence, Deebank's classical style of playing would provide the band's signature sound in its early years.
Combustion /kəmˈbʌs.tʃən/ or burning is a high-temperature exothermic redox chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant, usually atmospheric oxygen, that produces oxidized, often gaseous products, in a mixture termed as smoke. Combustion in a fire produces a flame, and the heat produced can make combustion self-sustaining. Combustion is often a complicated sequence of elementary radical reactions. Solid fuels, such as wood, first undergo endothermic pyrolysis to produce gaseous fuels whose combustion then supplies the heat required to produce more of them. Combustion is often hot enough that light in the form of either glowing or a flame is produced. A simple example can be seen in the combustion of hydrogen and oxygen into water vapor, a reaction commonly used to fuel rocket engines. This reaction releases 242 kJ/mol of heat and reduces the enthalpy accordingly (at constant temperature and pressure):
Combustion of an organic fuel in air is always exothermic because the double bond in O2 is much weaker than other double bonds or pairs of single bonds, and therefore the formation of the stronger bonds in the combustion products CO2 and H2O results in the release of energy. The bond energies in the fuel play only a minor role, since they are similar to those in the combustion products; e.g., the sum of the bond energies of CH4 is nearly the same as that of CO2. The heat of combustion is approximately -418 kJ per mole of O2 used up in the combustion reaction, and can be estimated from the elemental composition of the fuel.
Nick the Knife is a 1982 album by Nick Lowe. The album was Lowe's third solo LP, and his first since the 1981 breakup of his band Rockpile. However, the record still has several Rockpile ties, as Lowe's former bandmates Billy Bremner and Terry Williams play on the album. In addition, Lowe does a slowed-down remake of the Rockpile song "Heart"; the original version can be found on the band's album Seconds of Pleasure sung by Bremner.
Nick the Knife reached #50 on the Billboard 200, and #99 on the UK album charts. No singles from the album made the US or UK charts, although in Canada "Stick It Where The Sun Don't Shine" hit the top 40.
Nick the Knife is notable for being one of only two Nick Lowe solo albums with no covers, as it is composed entirely of songs written or co-written by Lowe (the other album is 1990's Party of One).
The album is currently out of print.
All tracks composed by Nick Lowe, except where indicated

The Chinese Elm cultivar Ulmus parvifolia 'Glory' is one of the early American selections, best known for its winter hardiness.
'Glory' can reach heights over 13 m.
The species and its cultivars are highly resistant, but not immune, to Dutch elm disease, and unaffected by the Elm Leaf Beetle Xanthogaleruca luteola.
'Glory' is common in the United States. The tree featured in the elm trials conducted by Northern Arizona University at Holbrook. It is not known to have been introduced to Europe or Australasia. Hardiness: USDA zones 5b–10a.
Free Weezy Album (abbreviated as FWA) is the eleventh studio album by American hip hop recording artist Lil Wayne. It was released on July 4, 2015, by Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records, exclusively on TIDAL.
On December 4, 2014, just five days before Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V was due to be released, Wayne issued a statement saying the album would not be released on its expected release date, due to his displeasure with Cash Money Records label-boss Birdman, not wanting to release the album although it had been completed. Wayne also expressed his feelings by stating he felt both he and his creativity were "being held prisoner". On January 20, 2015, Wayne self-released Sorry 4 the Wait 2, a mixtape to compensate for the continued delay of Tha Carter V. It is the sequel to 2011's Sorry 4 the Wait, which served for the same purpose during the delay of his ninth album, Tha Carter IV (2011). Upon Sorry for the Wait 2's release, it was noted Wayne disses Birdman and Cash Money Records, several times throughout the mixtape. On January 28, 2015, it was reported Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records over the delay of Tha Carter V.
[Slug]
He threw his weapon in the trash dumpster
In the alley way, behind that Irish pub
Then he sprinted like Olympics down the street
Everything went numb except his legs and feet
His car was parked, just a few blocks away
He ain't gettin' caught
Nope, not today
And he can hear the faint sounds of the sirens
Time is short
And life's a sport
He tried to push weight like his Face had a Scar
Somebody got to hate and instigate at that bar
He popped that fool, like baby I'm a star
Now he's runnin' to the safety of his baby momma's car
Boy was born to be a soldier
Look over the shoulder as he took the corner
Nobody at the pub knows who he was
They seen him though
Either way, there's a vehicle
Down the street
It's within his reach
The cops are close
Hear the tires screech
Hand in the pocket
Grab the remote
Then, pop the trunk yeah
Hopped in a closed it
Sittin' in the cold trunk space
But his head stayed hot from the sweat on his face
Got to keep his cool and think this through
If only he could fall asleep for a few
All thoughts crossed
Of how he got lost
Time is gone
Tryin' to hit the stop watch
Wishin' he could take it back to the simple
When the future still had some potential
From the childhood, playground jungle gym
To the concrete jungle that he's stuck within
Boy determines
No returners
Stay warm from the fire of the glory burnin'
Chorus: [x2]
[Slug] And it burns
[MURS] Glory burnin' in every soul
[Slug] And it burns
[MURS] Glory burnin' in every goal
[Slug] And it burns
[MURS] Glory burnin' in every war
[Slug] So let it burn
[MURS] But know what you're burnin' it for
[MURS]
Who did this motherfucker think he was?
Ran up on who like he didn't give a fuck?
Who called the cops from inside the pub?
Cause it didn't take the who that long to show up
What made me think I had to take it this far?
What made me hop into the trunk of this car?
What would you do if your crew as at war?
What would they do to even out the score?
Where my boys at? They was supposed to have my back
Wait, I can't hear no footsteps, where the cops at?
Where I'm supposed to run when this trunk gets cracked?
Wait, where my girl at? As a matter of fact
Why ain't we pulled off and left without a trace?
Why didn't I listen when she said, "Baby wait"?
Why did I see disgust when I look into her face?
Why didn't I learn when I caught my first case?
When will the oxygen run out in this truck?
When won't I have to prove I ain't no punk?
When will the OGs catch a body for once?
When will I get a chance to smoke this blunt?
How could I think of gettin' high right now?
How could I do this to my woman and child?
How did I end up livin' life so fowl?
Never thought the glory would burn me, that's how
The fire within burns close to the heart
Keeps the live shit and the emotions apart
God forbid you mix passion with thought
Cause then you're only askin' for the drama to start
The cycle never ends while we live in denial
And wonder what it is to make the kid so wild
Who, what, where and when, why and how
But the answers to the those questions don't matter now
