Though I wash my hands and my feet in the waters of blessings.
I start my day, by looking for bread.
I see people running to town, to town can't find no food.
It's like famine all over the land.
    The pressure from Babylon.
    People holding on so strife.
By the rivers of Babylon, we must trample dragon.
By the rivers of Babylon, we are strong and we are ion.
    Zion
Plant the seed and let it grow,
So you can feed the nation.
Too much people on the street don't you know,
Can't find no food, can't find no food.
The crisis here and the crisis there.
    People getting even disappear.
See a man at the sidewalk, that's where he sleeps.
And that's where he eats, and there is also woman and children too.
Oh what a shame oh in Babylon, (using Him) to uplift the nation.
By the rivers of Babylon, man must trample dragon.
By the rivers of Babylon, we are strong and we are ion.
    In Zion
We need to put in check, all these fornication words.
That we breaks on the light can't you see that
you're fighting with dynamite to keep us down.
But we close to the top, champion, number one.
Wait, wait, wait for the master to come,
    For the master to come.
By the rivers of Babylon, we must trample dragon.
By the rivers of Babylon, we are strong and we are ion.
    Zion, Zion
People don't love each other no more.
    As they use one another.
Oh my brother, love your sister,
How long must we be this way since we going astray.
    People Signpost
Even though we end up in a dem sow.
By the rivers of Babylon, we must trample dragon.
By the rivers of Babylon, I am, I am strong, strong like a lion,
    Strong like a lion. Everyday.
Yes we know, yes we know, we are ion.
Yes we know, yes we know, we are lion.
Yes we know, yes we know.
