Glenn McMillan
Glenn Aguiar McMillan (born 5 October 1984) is a Brazilian Australian actor and lawyer. He is perhaps best known for his acting roles as Dustin Brooks in Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Carlos dos Santos in "Wonderland".
Early life
McMillan was born in São João da Boa Vista, São Paulo, Brazil. The town is the birthplace of his mother, and the place where his parents met when his father was posted there as an exchange student at the age of 17. His father had begun studying medicine in Australia, but both his parents formed a career in business and real estate. His mother is a talented musician who plays piano, guitar and accordion. He has two older sisters. The McMillan family moved to Adelaide, Australia, when he was four years old. McMillan remains strongly connected to his Brazilian heritage, speaks fluent Portuguese, and revisits his birthplace often.
Career
Acting
McMillan developed a passion for acting at a young age when his parents enrolled him in after school classes. His first professional acting role was at age 11, in a State Theatre Company of South Australia production of Six Characters in Search of an Author, by Luigi Pirandello, playing the role of the "Young Boy". McMillan has said that while he enjoyed performing on a professional stage at this young age, he found it quite traumatic playing a character who commits suicide at the end of the play for the many running weeks of the production.
