Give Me Rest is the third studio album from Hands. Facedown Records released the album on July 5, 2011. Hands worked with Joshua Barber and Shane Ochsner, in the production of this album.
Awarding the album four stars from HM Magazine, Rob Shameless states, "The is one of the most dynamic records Hands has ever put out." Aziz, rating the album 3.5 out of five for Sputnikmusic, writes, "A wholly lustrous album, rife with moving and expressive vocal performances at every turn and relaxing yet inexorable [guitar work] across the board, Hands’ latest offering has few faults." Giving the album four and a half stars at Jesus Freak Hideout, Wayne Reimer says, "It's thick with relatable emotion, carried on the back of extremely robust musicianship." Rating the album an 8.0 out of ten by Mind Equals Blown, Sebastian Fonseca states, "Give Me Rest is really a gem of an album, it’s original while still being accessible, and it’s pummeling while still being soothing." Jeremiah Holdsworth, awarding the album five stars from Indie Vision Music, writes, "This album is captivating, musically and lyrically, from beginning to end."

"Give" is a song by American country recording artist LeAnn Rimes, that was released as the third and final single from her album Lady & Gentlemen. The song is written by Connie Harrington, Sonya Isaacs and Jimmy Yeary.
The single was officially released for digital download to iTunes stores and Amazon.com on June 14, 2011. The single was released to radio on July 18, 2011. A set of remixes was released by iTunes stores for digital download on October 11, 2011.
Jonathan Keefe of Slant Magazine gave a mixed review on the song stating that "Rimes delivers a lovely, subtle performance on "Give," but the song lacks the depth of insight that "What I Cannot Change," the standout track on Family, proved she's capable of writing." Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times claimed that song takes Rimes "back to the contemporary pop-country mainstream."
The music video for "Give" was released on Rimes' official YouTube on September 9, 2011. A shorter version of the song was released later on CMT.com. Both videos are directed by Nigel Dick.
Give is the fourth studio album by the Israeli electronica-world fusion trio Balkan Beat Box.
Give received generally favorable reviews from critics, with the exception of a D- from Consequence of Sound's Alex Young. Young wrote that on the album, "the band is able to put checkmarks in all the Balkan Beat Box boxes but fail to meet the standards they set previously in any of them."

Rest, released April 1, 2008, is the second full-length album by Virginian post-rock band Gregor Samsa. The band posted the tracks online at Imeem before the album was released. The album was released in five formats, digital (April 1), unlimited (May 13), limited (April 24), collector's, and vinyl.
A rest is an interval of silence in a piece of music, marked by a symbol indicating the length of the pause. Each rest symbol corresponds with a particular note value:
The quarter (crotchet) rest may also be found as a form
in older music.
(The four-measure rest or longa rest is a symbol found in Western musical notation denoting a silence four times the duration of a whole rest. They are only used in long silent passages which are not divided into bars.
The two-measure rest or breve rest is another symbol found in Western musical notation denoting a silence twice the duration of a whole rest.
The combination of rests used to mark a pause follows the same rules as for notes. For more details see note value.
When an entire bar is devoid of notes, a whole (semibreve) rest is used, regardless of the actual time signature. The only exceptions are for a 4/2 time signature (four half notes per bar), when a double whole rest is typically used for a bar's rest, and for time signatures shorter than 3/16, when a rest of the actual measure length would be used. For a 4/2 bar rest, it is also common to use the whole rest instead of the double whole rest, so that a whole-bar rest for all time signatures starting from 3/16 is notated using a whole note rest. Some published (usually earlier) music places the numeral "1" above the rest to confirm the extent of the rest.
Forgive me for falling out, it's just not the way I see you. Take me to the
Water. Let there be light! To reveal everything we've become. Take me to
The water. I'm losing my faith at the hands of the dynasty. Take me to the
Water. I just want something real. From the shore, with the sea to my back.
I can see a wasteland of blasphemy. Spoiled fruit, reaped from crooked
Trees. God, are these your seeds? Are these your branches? I'm so disgusted
With all of this. I want to recover. Be still my brother. Be still so we
May hear His voice. Let there be light. Take me to the water.
