"Girls" is a song by American hip hop group the Beastie Boys, released as the seventh and final single from their debut album Licensed to Ill. Like "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)", this song was never performed live and it is one of the few songs on the album that are not in the vein of their standard rap songs.

Song structure and lyrics [link]
The song is the shortest on the album, lasting just over 2 minutes long. The song's instrumental is relatively simple, consisting of a drum beat being played over a vibrophone loop, with occasional pauses.
Lyrically, the song talks about the narrator (Ad-Rock)'s desire for women. He recalls a previous experience with a woman, who loves his "homepiece" MCA, who refuses to "give her play". He asks him if he can spend time with her, and after being given approval, they take a walk down to a bay, where she rejects his proposal to date her. She eventually moves away, but in the present day the narrator sees her again, "jocking Mike D to [his] dismay".

Kesha made a female version "Boys" using the same beat only it was electronic and her lyrics display boys the same way that the Beastie Boys do about girls in the final part of their song and in 2005 Molotov released a cover version of "Girls" on their album Con Todo Respeto.

Amber Lily Solberg (born January 18, 1997), better known as simply Amber Lily, is an American singer, actress, and dancer from San Francisco, California. She was featured on Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing", or "N.B.T.".
Biography
Early life and first studio album (1997-2008)
Amber Lily Solberg was born on January 18, 1997 near Los Angeles, California, to parents Eric Solberg and Maria Elena Baduria. She is half Norwegian and half Filipino. Solberg began singing at the age of 5, where she sang Christina Aguilera's song "Reflection" at her school's first grade talent show. Later on, at age 7, she starred in her first musical theater production. On August 8, 2008, she released her first full-length album, Amber Lily, which contained 9 original songs, each co-written by Solberg and Simone Sello, who produced the entire album.
Radio Disney's Next Big Thing (2009-2010)
Amber Lily was a featured artist on Disney's "Next Big Thing", or "N.B.T", alongside 4 other acts, which were announced late 2009. Two original singles were featured on the show: "2 2 2 L8" and "Next To You." They were later featured on her second album, Coming to Life. Amber Lily did not win the competition, but has been featured on Radio Disney's channel, the same thing happens with Coco Jones and "N.B.T." winners, Kicking Daisies.
Girls (The Prodigy song)
"Girls" was the fourteenth single released by the British electronic band The Prodigy on 30 August 2004. It was the first single from the album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. "Girls" peaked at number 19 on the UK Singles Chart.
The single's music video was directed by Mat Cook and Julian House, who also designed the artwork for the album and single. It featured experimental computer graphics with various psychedelic themes.
The sample used in the hook is re-made but taken from the Broken Glass single "Style of the Street" and also the song samples D. Train "You're The One For Me".

On 21 June 2004, "Girls/Memphis Bells" was released as a promotional single by the band as a very limited 12" vinyl record.
Beyond this, "Memphis Bells" was made exclusively available online as a digital download on 28 June 2004 via a now defunct website. Available in a limited edition of 5,000, each of the downloads had a unique variation of both the track and the artwork.
