Singö

Singö Is an island located in the north of Stockholm County, close to the border of Uppsala County. The island has around 400 inhabitants and is around 25 km² big. Söderby, Backby, Tranvik, Ellan, Norrvreta and Boda are the villages located on Singö, the closest "big village" is however Grisslehamn on Väddö. In Söderby, there is a small grocery store open from 10:00-18:00 in the week and 10:00-15:00 on weekends and holidays.

LIFE Church UK

LIFE Church UK, formerly the Abundant Life Church, is a large Christian church established and primarily based in Bradford, in the north of England.

The church has additional facilities in Belfast, Leeds and Warsaw and describes itself as "one church, four cities". In 2003 it had an attendance of over 2,000 people; by 2006, the figure had climbed to 2,800.

History

LIFE Church has its roots in the Charismatic Restoration movement of Arthur Wallis. It was founded in 1976 by Bryn Jones, one of the early Restoration/British New Church leaders, by an amalgamation of three small Bradford churches: a charismatic Brethren Assembly based at the Bolton Woods Gospel Hall; an independent charismatic church made up mostly of former Baptists who had been unable to continue in their church because of their charismatic beliefs; and the New Covenant Church, a fellowship originally under the apostolic leadership of G. W. North.

In its early days it met in the Anglican Church House and so was known locally as Church House. Later known as Abundant Life Church for a number of years, in 2012 the name was shortened to LIFE Church, reflecting a move into a season of new leadership and direction.

Sing (Travis song)

"Sing" is the lead single from indie rock band Travis' third studio album, The Invisible Band. It was released in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2001, following an extensive five-week promotional campaign. The song reached a peak position of number three on the UK Singles Chart. "Sing" was a worldwide success, reaching top ten in several countries in Europe and Latin America The song can be heard in NBC mockumentary The Office on various occasions.

Music video

The music video features the band visiting a large country house for dinner and getting into a massive food fight with the residents. The video premièred in on 20 April 2001, on Top of the Pops. When the single reached number three, the band were invited on to Top of the Pops, where they re-enacted the food fight for a live performance. This performance is sometimes used instead of the main video.

B-Sides

The single's B-sides include a cover of Queen's "Killer Queen" with guest vocalist Jason Falkner (formerly of the band Jellyfish), and band member Andy Dunlop's writing and vocal debut on "You Don't Know What I'm Like".

Girls (Beastie Boys song)

"Girls" is a song by American hip hop group the Beastie Boys, released in 1987 as well as the music video as the seventh and final single from their debut album Licensed to Ill. Like "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)", this song was never performed live and it is one of the few songs on the album that are not in the vein of their standard rap songs.

Song structure and lyrics

The song is the shortest on the album, lasting just over 2 minutes long. The song's instrumental is relatively simple, consisting of a drum beat being played over a vibraphone loop, with occasional pauses. The song contains many similarities to the song "Shout" by The Isley Brothers.

Lyrically, the song talks about the narrator (Ad-Rock)'s desire for women. He recalls a experience from two years before with a woman who had an interest in the narrator's band mate MCA. MCA did not share her feelings and permitted the narrator to pursue her romantically. Ad-Rock takes the woman for a walk near a body of water and asks for her hand. The woman rejects his proposal. She moves to a far away location but in the present day the narrator sees her back in town showing interest in his other band mate, Mike D.

"Girls (All Around the World)" is a song by British-Australian recording artist Reece Mastin. It was released as a digital download on 25 October 2013. The song peaked at number 59 on the ARIA Singles Chart. "Girls (All Around the World)" was written by Mastin, Rune Westberg, Brian Howes and was produced by Rune Westberg.

A music video to accompany the release of "Girls (All Around the World)" was first released onto YouTube on 24 October 2013 at a total length of three minutes and nineteen seconds.

"Girls" is a song by English indie rock band The 1975, originally recorded by the band for their eponymous debut album, The 1975. It appears as the eleventh track on the album. The song impacted contemporary hit radio in the United Kingdom on 11 November 2013 as the album's fourth single. A music video for "Girls" was released on 23 October 2013.

Music video

The official music video for "Girls" was released on 23 October 2013. It follows the video for "Sex", which changed the art style of the band's music videos that were originally monochrome. Shazam (wizard)

Shazam is a comic book character created by Bill Parker and C. C. Beck for Fawcett Comics. He is an ancient wizard (Whiz Comics #2 gives his age as 3,000 years) who gives young Billy Batson the power to transform into the superhero Captain Marvel. DC Comics has billed Captain Marvel's adventures under the title Shazam! since 1973.

In 2012, DC officially changed Captain Marvel's name to "Shazam", to resolve trademark conflicts with the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Both the wizard and his champion shared the name of "Shazam" in the comic-book stories published from then to date.

Fictional character biography

Creating Captain Marvel

Shazam informs Billy that he is an ancient Egyptian wizard who has been using his powers for many centuries to fight the forces of evil, but that he is now old and not long for this world. He therefore passes along part of his power to Billy, who shouts his name – "SHAZAM!" – to transform into Captain Marvel. Although Shazam is killed, as prophesied, by a giant granite block falling on him, Billy/Marvel can summon the ghost of Shazam for guidance by lighting a special brazier in Shazam's lair (the Rock of Eternity). More superheroes soon joined Marvel in carrying on the legacy of Shazam, including Marvel Family members Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. Shazam tells that once, 5000 years before, he gave powers to Black Adam, but banished him to the furthest star in the universe for trying to use them to take over the world.
