Giri Kanye
Giri Kanye (Kannada: ಗಿರಿಕನ್ಯೆ) is a 1977 Indian Kannada drama film directed by Dorai - Bhagwan duo. It is based on the novel of the same name by Bharathisutha. The film stars Rajkumar, Jayamala and Vajramuni in lead roles.
The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Rajan-Nagendra considered evergreen hits.

Giri (Japanese)
Giri (義理) is a Japanese value roughly corresponding to "duty", "obligation", or even "burden of obligation" in English. It is defined as "to serve one's superiors with a self-sacrificing devotion" by Namiko Abe.
