"Get in Line" is a song by the Canadian alternative rock group Barenaked Ladies. It was released in 1999 in the soundtrack of the TV series King of the Hill. It failed to get a noteworthy chart position, unlike the band's next single, "Pinch Me". The song was released as a promo 5" and CD single and later appeared on the band's compilation release, Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits (1991–2001).
The music video, the first of many of the group's videos directed by Phil Harder, features the band playing the song live action in the setting of King of the Hill. It was shot in a warehouse in Seattle. Kevin Hearn has a "puffy" look due to chemotherapy. Their manager Pierre has a cameo dressed as Fidel Castro. Pierre went on to dress up in several more videos. The same day the video was shot, the band did another photoshoot, in the nude, for the now defunct web magazine called Bliss.
The video for "Get in Line" is featured in Barenaked Ladies' DVD Barelaked Nadies, as well on the King of the Hill Season 1 DVD set as a special feature (Disc 3 w/ Dale Gribble).

Heavy clouds all hanging around
And the sun refuses to shine
If you're bent on bringing me back down
Better get in line
Something I said has got you so mad
You want to give me a piece of your mind
If you intend on making me feel bad
You best get in line
Oh, it's a long line
It's a long line
It's going out the door
You'll be waiting in line
A very long time
Till your feet are sore
Whatever I do I'm doing it wrong
And if you feel the need to remind
Me of a world that's long gone
Take a number and wait in line
Oh, it's a long line
It's a long line
It's going 'round the bend
You'll be waiting a long time
It's a very long line
I can't see the end
Heavy clouds all hanging around
And the sun refuses to shine
If you're bent on bringing me back down
Better get in line
I never meant for your flowers to wilt
Or to sour all your sweet wine
If you mean to shower me with guilt
Better get in line
If you're crying over milk that spilt
Well, take a number and wait in line
