Get Back

"Get Back" is a song recorded by the Beatles and written by Paul McCartney (though credited to Lennon-McCartney), originally released as a single on 11 April 1969 and credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston." A different mix of the song later became the closing track of Let It Be (1970), which was the Beatles' last album released just after the group split. The single version was later issued on the compilation albums 1967–1970, 20 Greatest Hits, Past Masters, and 1.

The single reached number one in the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, France, West Germany, and Mexico. It was the Beatles' only single that credited another artist at their request. "Get Back" was the Beatles' first single release in true stereo in the US. In the UK, the Beatles' singles remained monaural until the following release, "The Ballad of John and Yoko".

"Get Back" is unusual in the Beatles' canon in that almost every moment of the song's evolution has been extensively documented, from its beginning as an offhand riff to its final mixing in several versions. Much of this documentation is in the form of illegal (but widely available) bootleg recordings, and is recounted in the book Get Back: The Unauthorized Chronicle of the Beatles' Let It Be Disaster by Doug Sulpy and Ray Schweighardt.

Get Back (Ludacris song)

"Get Back" is a song by rapper Ludacris, from his album The Red Light District. It was released as the first single from the album and reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2005.

Music video

The music video features Dolla Boy from DTP's Playaz Circle, who makes a brief part of the song in which he and Ludacris both say, "I came I saw I hit 'em right dead in the jaw." The video also features a cameo from Fatlip, a former member of the group The Pharcyde who previously worked with the video's director Spike Jonze.

Get Back (Zebrahead song)

Get Back is a song by American punk rock band Zebrahead from their second and major label debut album Waste of Mind which was released on 1998. When the song was released it became a minor-hit on the radio and charted #32 on the US Modern Rock Tracks. It's the first and only song so far to be charted on a Billboard chart from Zebrahead and also is the best known.

Music video

The music video features the band on the final floor of a building (presumably a hotel or apartment building) and then while performing the song they fall through the other floors of the building. It was a favorite on MTV2 and was aired at least twice on MTV.

Hédé-Bazouges (Breton: Hazhoù-Bazeleg, Gallo: Hédoe) is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France.

On 1 January 2008, the village of Saint-Symphorien was separated from the commune, and given the status of commune in its own right.

Prior to 22 March 2011, the commune was called Hédé.

Inhabitants of Hédé-Bazouges are called Hédéens in French.

Höðr

Höðr (often anglicized as Hod, Hoder, or Hodur) is a blind god and the brother of Baldr in Norse mythology. Tricked and guided by Loki, he shot the mistletoe arrow which was to slay the otherwise invulnerable Baldr.

According to the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda, the goddess Frigg, Baldr's mother, made everything in existence swear never to harm Baldr, except for the mistletoe, which she found too unimportant to ask (alternatively, which she found too young to demand an oath from). The gods amused themselves by trying weapons on Baldr and seeing them fail to do any harm. Loki, the mischief-maker, upon finding out about Baldr's one weakness, made a spear from mistletoe, and helped Höðr shoot it at Baldr. In reaction to this, Odin and the giantess Rindr gave birth to Váli, who grew to adulthood within a day and slew Höðr.

The Danish historian Saxo Grammaticus recorded an alternative version of this myth in his Gesta Danorum. In this version, the mortal hero Høtherus and the demi-god Balderus compete for the hand of Nanna. Ultimately, Høtherus slays Balderus.
