Gentleman

In modern parlance, the term gentleman (from Latin gentilis, belonging to a race or gens, and man, the Italian gentil uomo or gentiluomo, the French gentilhomme, the Spanish gentilhombre, and the Portuguese homem gentil) refers to any man of good, courteous conduct. It may also refer to all men collectively, as in indications of gender-separated facilities, or as a sign of the speaker's own courtesy when addressing others. The modern female equivalent is lady.

In its original meaning, the term denoted a man of the lowest rank of the English gentry, standing below an esquire and above a yeoman. By definition, this category included the younger sons of the younger sons of peers and the younger sons of baronets, knights, and esquires in perpetual succession, and thus the term captures the common denominator of gentility (and often armigerousness) shared by both constituents of the English aristocracy: the peerage and the gentry. In this sense, the word equates with the French gentilhomme ("nobleman"), which latter term has been, in Great Britain, long confined to the peerage. Maurice Keen points to the category of "gentlemen" in this context as thus constituting "the nearest contemporary English equivalent of the noblesse of France". The notion of "gentlemen" as encapsulating the members of the hereditary ruling class was what the rebels under John Ball in the 14th century meant when they repeated:

This is a list of Spider-Man enemies that have been in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy. The films also introduce Dylan Baker as Dr. Curt Connors, the man who in the comics becomes the Lizard, but this entity and transformation never took place during Raimi's tenure as director. Spider-Man 2 also features Daniel Gillies as John Jameson, whose similar transformation into the Man-Wolf is not depicted in the film. Additionally, the Kingpin was featured prominently in the 2003 Mark Steven Johnson film Daredevil, where he was portrayed by Michael Clarke Duncan. Mendel Stromm was also portrayed by actor Ron Perkins in the 2002 Spider-Man film, although he did not become a villain. In Marc Webb's reboot of Spider-Man, the Lizard is the villain. Diablo (Esteban Corazón de Ablo) is a fictional character, a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Diablo is an enemy of the Fantastic Four. He is depicted as an evil alchemist.

Publication history

He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and first appeared in Fantastic Four vol. 1 #30. In a 2013 interview with Chris Hardwick of Nerdist, creator Stan Lee said that Diablo was his greatest regret because he cannot remember the character, who he is, and why he did what he did. "When you create a character you should feel you know him," said Stan Lee.

Esteban Corazón de Ablo was a powerful alchemist in 9th Century Saragossa, who sold his soul to the demon Mephisto to lengthen his life far beyond a human span.

Years later, Diablo set up a base in Transylvania where he made a pact with the Vampires.

Diablo (band)

Diablo is a Finnish melodic death metal band, formed in 1995 as Diablo Brothers. The band cite Testament, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Opeth, Death, and Meshuggah as influences, but influence from several Gothenburg bands, including Dark Tranquillity, Hypocrisy, and In Flames, is also evident in their music. Their fourth album, Mimic47, was released in January 2006, and reached No. 1 on the Finnish music charts. On May 14, 2008, Diablo released their 5th studio album, Icaros. It reached No. 2 on the Finnish music charts.

Vocalist Rainer Nygård confirms the release of their new album "Silvër Horizon" on a video uploaded by the Metal Festival Nummirock on Facebook. Nygård speaks in Finnish and states that the album will be released on fall of 2015.
