Pyramid (Providence band)
Pyramid is a punk rock band from Providence, Rhode Island, composed of Connie Strychasz (vocals, drums), Florence Wallis (bass), Mackensie Elisabeth (guitar) and Thea Shaheen (ukulele). Members have previously or concurrently played with other Providence bands including The Low Anthem. Founded in 2014, Pyramid has built a strong following in the town thanks to its memorable live shows. A series of demos were released on Soundcloud, and a debut album is forthcoming.

Memphis Pyramid
The Memphis Pyramid, initially known as the Great American Pyramid, formerly referred to as the Pyramid Arena and locally referred to as The Pyramid, was originally built as a 20,142-seat arena located in downtown Memphis at the banks of the Mississippi River. The facility was built in 1991 and was originally owned and operated jointly by the city of Memphis and Shelby County; Shelby County sold its share to Memphis in April 2009. Its structure plays on the city's namesake in Egypt, known for its ancient pyramids. It is 321 feet (98m, about 32 stories) tall and has base sides of 591 ft; it is by some measures the tenth tallest pyramid in the world.
The Memphis Pyramid has not been regularly used as a sports or entertainment venue since 2004. In 2015, the Pyramid re-opened as a Bass Pro Shops "megastore", which includes shopping, a hotel, restaurants, a bowling alley, and an archery range with an outdoor observation deck at its apex.

Reception
The Allmusic review states "The MJQ had become a jazz institution by this time, but they never lost their creative edge, and their performances (even on the remakes) are quite stimulating, enthusiastic, and fresh".

Galaxy (spacecraft)
Galaxy (previously Guardian) is a canceled prototype space habitat designed by the American firm Bigelow Aerospace, and was intended to be the third spacecraft launched by the company in their efforts to create a commercial space station. Like other modules made by Bigelow Aerospace, Galaxy is based on the inflatable TransHab design by NASA, and was to be used for advanced systems testing before the company launched human-rated vehicles.
Spacecraft history
Galaxy started life as twin spacecraft named Guardian which would have acted as 45% scale intermediates between the one-third size Genesis I & Genesis II pathfinders and the full size BA 330 man-rated module. Sometime after 2004, the two Guardian flights were split into the Galaxy module and larger Sundancer module, each testing progressively advanced systems. This Galaxy had twice the interior volume of the Genesis craft: 23.0 cubic meters (812.2 cu ft). In 2007, the parameters for Galaxy were again modified, with final specifications being for a spacecraft 4.0 meters (13.1 ft) in length, 3.3 meters (10.8 ft) in diameter and with 16.7 cubic meters (589.8 cu ft) of interior volume—45% greater than the Genesis modules. It was intended for launch in late 2008.
Galaxy (Australian television)
Galaxy is a former provider of pay television programming in Australia via satellite and wireless cable (microwave) delivery methods.
Galaxy was founded in 1993, and begin test broadcasting on 1 January 1995 via microwave transmission, making it the first provider of pay-TV services in the country. It was officially launched on Australia Day (26 January). At launch only two channels were fully operational, the local Premier Sports and international news channel ANBC. Digital satellite broadcasts began in September 1995.
Galaxy was a joint venture between Continental Century Pay-TV and Australis Media. Each held licenses allowing them to provide four channels of satellite delivered television
Continental Century Pay-TV and Australis Media held exclusive licenses to broadcast pay-TV in Australia via satellite until 1997. Their main competitors were Foxtel and Optus Vision, both of which operated separate cable networks. The Galaxy channel package was franchised to CETV (Later Austar) and East Coast Television (ECTV) in regional areas.
