  • Gegé

Admilson Estaline Dias de Barros (born 24 February 1988), known as Gegé, is a Cape Verdean footballer who plays for Portuguese club F.C. Arouca as a central defender.

    Club career

Gegé was born in Santiago. He moved to Portugal in 2008, starting in the lower leagues with Sporting Clube de Pombal and C.F. Estrela da Amadora and moving to the second division in June 2010, signing for C.D. Trofense.

After one more season in the second level, with S.C. Covilhã, Gegé moved to the top flight with C.S. Marítimo, initially being assigned to the reserves in division three. He made his debut in Portugal's main category with the Madeirans on 18 August 2013, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–1 home win against S.L. Benfica.

    International career

Gegé was called up to the Cape Verde national team for friendlies against Malta and Angola in September 2009, along three other under-21 internationals, but eventually did not play. He gained his first full cap the following year, featuring the full 90 minutes in a 2–1 win over Guinea-Bissau in Lisbon.

    1 Girl 5 Gays

1 Girl 5 Gays, sometimes abbreviated as 1g5g, was a Canadian talk show that premiered on October 14, 2009 on MTV Canada. In October 2010, gay-interest sister network Logo picked up the program and started airing it in the United States. Aliya Jasmine Sovani was the host for the first three seasons and part of the fourth. Lauren Collins, known for her role as Paige Michalchuk on Degrassi, replaced Sovani as the host.

Out Magazine described the show as containing "frank, often curse-laced discussions about bareback sex, masturbation and one-night stands", and analogised it with "The View meets Dr. Ruth, only with hot gay men instead of menopausal madams".

    Format

In each episode, one female (or "one girl") — Aliya Jasmine Sovani from 2009 to 2013, and Lauren Collins from 2013 to 2014, sits down with five panelists (or "five gays"), usually gay men but occasionally lesbian women, to discuss 20 questions about love and sex. The "five gays" in each episode are a rotating panel, each having differing backgrounds and points of view. The fast-paced discussion explores serious themes as well as lighthearted topics dealing with romance and pleasure.

    G. G. (album)

G.G. (or Gary Glitter) is the title of Gary Glitter's third studio album, which was released in 1975.

The album was an attempt by Glitter to change his musical direction from the usual heavy glam rock he had been recording. It was produced by Mark Munro, unlike Glitter's previous efforts which were done by Mike Leander. Also unlike his previous albums, Glitter had very little to do with the composing of the songs, having only one credit as a songwriter on "I'll Carry Your Picture (Everywhere)". As well as attempting to broaden his style, the album was also an attempt to break Glitter into the music market of the United States. Though Glitter had previously had hits there in 1973 with "Rock and Roll" and "I Didn't Know I Loved You (Til I Saw You Rock 'n' Roll)" and some further minor success with his debut album Glitter, his follow-ups didn't do as well as in other countries. Ironically, the G.G. album (or any singles from it) was never released in the USA.

Back in the United Kingdom, Glitter's homeland, the first single from the album "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow", stalled outside the top 30. It was his worst chart showing to date, his 11 previous singles all having reached the top 10. The album also performed poorly compared to his previous efforts.

    G.G. (Gossip Girl)

"G.G." is the thirteenth episode of the fifth season of the American television teen drama, Gossip Girl and the show's 100th episode overall. The episode was written by executive producer Joshua Safran and directed by Mark Piznarski. It premiered on The CW Television Network (The CW) in the United States on January 30, 2012. In the episode, the wedding of Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) to Prince Louis Grimaldi (Hugo Becker) takes place.

The episode opened to favorable reviews, with television critics praising the fact it honored the series' successful days. Michelle Trachtenberg's performance as Georgina Sparks was also well received. Upon its initial airing, the episode was viewed by 1.39 million Americans and garnered a 0.7/2 Nielsen rating/share in the 18–49 demographic. The total viewership and ratings for this episode were slightly up in comparison to the previous episode "Father and the Bride".

    Plot

The episode begins with a musical dream sequence of Serena (Blake Lively), featuring herself as Marilyn Monroe singing "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and Blair (Leighton Meester) as Audrey Hepburn. Everyone prepares for the wedding of Blair to Prince Louis Grimaldi of Monaco (Hugo Becker). Father Cavilla (Marc Menard) visits Chuck (Ed Westwick) to tell him the plan to ruin the wedding – Father Cavilla will replace Father Smythe who will mistakenly have taken sleeping pills, and when he asks during the ceremony if anyone has any objection to the marriage, Chuck will tell that Blair is still in love with him. Though he first agreed on helping him, Chuck changes his mind because he doesn't want to destroy Blair's dream and only wants her happiness.
