Güsten

Güsten is a town in the district of Salzlandkreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the river Wipper, west of Bernburg. It is part of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Saale-Wipper.

Eurovision

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 Wig Wam represented Norway after winning the Norwegian pre-selection Melodi Grand Prix. With the song "In My Dreams", written by guitarist Teeny, they brought Norway to a ninth place in Kiev. The song immediately became a huge hit in Norway, being among the most bought singles for 19 weeks and peaking for three weeks at the top of the national single chart, an achievement neither of Norway's two Eurovision winners managed. Also in Iceland and Sweden it enjoyed moderate to huge commercial success. The band's slogan says: "Rock is the new schläger".

Wig Wam first took part in the Eurovision in 2004, finishing 3rd in the Norwegian final. With the song "Crazy Things", they could not beat singer Knut Anders Sørum ("High"), who subsequently slumped to last place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. Band leader Glam also took part in the Norwegian preselection on his own in 1998 and claimed third place under his former artist name G'sten, singing the song "Always Will".

G-Sten

G-Sten is the debut album by the Norwegian modern musician Åge Sten Nilsen. The album was released under his stage name "G-Sten" making the album also a self-titled album. It was also the only album released by Åge under his stage name.

Wolf & Butterfly reissue

The album was reissued, re-recorded and remastered in 2006 with new artwork and released under the new name Wolf & Butterfly. The reissue is sometimes confused to be Åge's debut album since he didn't achieve any success as a solo artist before the reissue. The reissue was also the first album by him to be released under his full name, Åge Sten Nilsen. Which probably is one of the main reasons the reissue is believed to be his debut album, although "G-Sten" is mentioned on his homepage.
