Full Moon is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the United States by Doubleday & Company on 22 May 1947, and in the United Kingdom by Herbert Jenkins on 17 October 1947. It is the sixth full-length novel to be set at the beautiful but trouble-ridden Blandings Castle, home of Lord Emsworth.

    Plot introduction

Clarence, 9th Earl of Emsworth, is forced to play host to his younger son Freddie, while two of his nieces, Prudence Garland and Veronica Wedge are romantically entangled with, respectively, Gally's godson Bill Lister and American millionaire Tipton Plimsoll. Further complications ensue when Tipton thinks Bill's gorilla-like face is an apparition brought about by too much drink, Lister is hired to paint the Empress's portrait, and Aggie's necklace gets waylaid.

    Plot summary

Lord Emsworth is aghast to learn that his younger son Freddie is back in England from America, sent over to push "Donaldson's Dog-Joy" to the English dog-owning public. He is less worried to hear that his niece Prudence Garland is being called a "dream rabbit" by unknown men over the telephone. Freddie meets Prudence, and learns her caller was none other than Bill Lister, an old pal of Freddie's and godson of his uncle Galahad, with whom Prudence plans to elope.

    Full Moon o Sagashite

Full Moon o Sagashite (満月(フルムーン)をさがして Furu Mūn o Sagashite, literally "Searching for the Full Moon") is a Japanese shōjo manga by Arina Tanemura. According to the furigana, the kanji 満月 in the title are read furu mūn ("full moon") and not mangetsu or mitsuki, the Japanese words for the full moon. In North America, the series is published as Full Moon, although the full title is given on the front cover.

The manga was published by Shueisha in the magazine Ribon from January 2002 to June 2004 and collected in seven tankōbon volumes. The manga is published in North America in English by Viz Media. The series was adapted as an anime television series produced by Nihon Ad Systems, which ended before the manga was completed, plus an OVA distributed with an issue of Ribon. The series was broadcast on TV Tokyo, where it enjoyed high ratings, and is also licensed in North America by Viz Media.

    Plot

Twelve-year-old Mitsuki Kouyama is a talented girl who dreams of becoming a singer, but she is afflicted with sarcoma, which is curable only through a surgery that could ruin her vocal cords, and lose her ability to sing. The tumor in her throat already affects her ability to breathe well and sing loudly. Her grandmother also hates music and is completely opposed to Mitsuki's wish to audition. Mitsuki's dreams seem impossible to achieve, until one day she is visited by two shinigami, whom only she could see. The shinigami, Takuto and Meroko, inadvertently tip Mitsuki off that she has only one year left to live.

    Full Moon (Brandy song)

"Full Moon" is a song by American recording artist Brandy Norwood, from her same-titled third studio album (2002). A breakaway from Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins' dominating influence on the album, it was written and produced by Mike City, one of the few producers Norwood worked with on Full Moon apart from Jerkins and his production and songwriting crew. The song initially impacted on US radios on April 1, 2002 as the album's second single. Described by Norwood as "ghetto", the track is a R&B and pop song that makes use of pop and hip-hop influences and a simple, piano–led production. Lyrically, the song follows Norwood as she experiences a love at first sight in a nightclub, whose circumstances she attributes to a full moon night.

The song was well received by music critics, with many complimenting Norwood's aurally remarkable evolvement and growth as well as the bass–heavy production, calling it a standout track from the album. The impact of "Full Moon" on the global charts was mediocre: While the single made it to the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart stateside, it reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart and made it to the top 30 in France and Italy, where it enjoyed equal commercial success as previous single "What About Us?".
