Dust (Macedonian: Прашина; Prašina; Prashina) is a 2001 British-Macedonian Western drama film, written and directed by Milcho Manchevski, and starring Joseph Fiennes, David Wenham, Adrian Lester, Anne Brochet, Vera Farmiga, and Rosemary Murphy. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival on August 29, 2001.
Shifting periodically between two parallel stories, Dust opens in present-day New York City with a young criminal, Edge (Adrian Lester), being confronted at gunpoint by an ailing old woman, Angela (Rosemary Murphy), whose apartment he is attempting to burglarize. While he awaits an opportunity to escape, she launches into a tale about two outlaw brothers, at the turn of the 20th century, who travel to Ottoman-controlled Macedonia. The two brothers have transient ill will between them, and they become estranged when confronted with a beautiful woman, Lilith (Anne Brochet).
In the New York storyline, Edge hunts for Angela's gold to pay back a debt, and gradually grows closer to her. In the Macedonian story, the brothers end up fighting for opposite sides of a revolution, with the religious Elijah (Joseph Fiennes) taking up sides with the Ottoman sultan and gunslinger Luke (David Wenham) joining "the Teacher" (Vlado Jovanovski), a Macedonian rebel.
Dust is the debut album by Dust, released by Kama Sutra Records in 1971.
All songs written and composed by Richie Wise and Kenny Kerner, except where noted.

Death is the termination of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. Phenomena which commonly bring about death include biological aging (senescence), predation, malnutrition, disease, suicide, homicide, starvation, dehydration, and accidents or trauma resulting in terminal injury. Bodies of living organisms begin to decompose shortly after death. Death has commonly been considered a sad or unpleasant occasion, due to the termination of social and familial bonds with the deceased or affection for the being that has died. Other concerns include fear of death, necrophobia, anxiety, sorrow, grief, emotional pain, depression, sympathy, compassion, solitude, or saudade.
The word death comes from Old English deað, which in turn comes from Proto-Germanic *dauthuz (reconstructed by etymological analysis). This comes from the Proto-Indo-European stem *dheu- meaning the "Process, act, condition of dying".
The concept and symptoms of death, and varying degrees of delicacy used in discussion in public forums, have generated numerous scientific, legal, and socially acceptable terms or euphemisms for death. When a person has died, it is also said they have passed away, passed on, expired, or are gone, among numerous other socially accepted, religiously specific, slang, and irreverent terms. Bereft of life, the dead person is then a corpse, cadaver, a body, a set of remains, and when all flesh has rotted away, a skeleton. The terms carrion and carcass can also be used, though these more often connote the remains of non-human animals. As a polite reference to a dead person, it has become common practice to use the participle form of "decease", as in the deceased; another noun form is decedent. The ashes left after a cremation are sometimes referred to by the neologism cremains, a portmanteau of "cremation" and "remains".
The discography of Death, a metal band, consists of seven studio albums and four live albums. Death was an American metal band founded in 1983. The band's founder, Chuck Schuldiner, is considered "a pioneering force in death metal and grindcore". The band ceased to exist after Schuldiner died of brain cancer in 2001, though it remains an enduring metal brand.
As of 2008, Death had sold over 2 million albums worldwide, with over 500,000 copies sold by December 2009 in the U.S. alone (excluding the numerous sales before the SoundScan era) making them the top-selling death metal band worldwide, and only topped in the U.S. by Cannibal Corpse.
Prior to the release of the band's debut album in 1987, Death released several demos and rehearsal tapes. Below is a list of the band's seven official demos according to its website.
Death is a Detroit rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1971 by brothers Bobby (bass, vocals), David (guitar), and Dannis (drums) Hackney. The trio started out as a funk band but switched to rock after seeing a concert by The Who. Seeing Alice Cooper play was also an inspiration. Music critic Peter Margasak retrospectively wrote that David "pushed the group in a hard-rock direction that presaged punk, and while this certainly didn’t help them find a following in the mid-70s, today it makes them look like visionaries." They could possibly be considered one of the first punk bands in the world. The band broke up by 1977 but reformed in 2009 when the Drag City label released their 70s demos for the first time.
In 1964, the three young Hackney brothers (David, Bobby and Dannis) were sat down by their father to witness The Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The following day, David found a discarded guitar in an alley and set about learning to play. Brothers Bobby and Dannis soon followed suit and they began playing music together.
Ghoul is a thrash metal band from Oakland, California. Though the members' actual identities are meant to be concealed, it is known that some members or past members of Ghoul also play or have played in other bands such as Impaled, Dystopia, Wolves in the Throne Room, Exhumed, Phobia, Asunder and Morbosidad. Ghoul released their debut album in 2002 and since then have released four full studio albums.
Not much is known about Ghoul as they are always seen wearing masks. The members go by the stage names Cremator, Fermentor, Digestor, and Dissector. The band has a large line-up of characters in their lyrics, including the four of themselves. Most of the information about them comes from the "Curio Shop Owner" one of the many characters mentioned in their songs. They claim to be mutants that come from Creepsylvania. Ghoul was signed after self-releasing a demo. Their musical style is best described as a blend of thrash and grindcore with death metal vocals and lyrics. In 2008, Ghoul released a split 7" with Brody's Militia. In November 2011, the band released their fourth album, Transmission Zero, and embarked on a North American tour opening for shock rockers Gwar. In early 2012, Ghoul once again toured the United States, opening for Gwar. In mid-2012, Ghoul toured the U.S. on a headlining run, playing festivals such as Maryland Deathfest, Chaos in Tejas, and the third annual GWAR B-Q. The band teamed up with Cannabis Corpse for a brief tour of Europe in January/February 2013.
chimneys choked with soot
belching flame from the furnace erupts
a funeral pyre for the newly deceased
the long dead and the freshly defunct
a human candle with a guttering flame
melting fat in the hypocaust
your time has run short, your spark is now dim
ashes, to the frigid winds, are lost
sizzling skin is burnt to char
corpses broiled to blackened tar
incandescent skulls explode
carbonized in our sweltering forge
body parts reduced to vapor
causing gases to disgorge
post-burial cremation
the foulest stiffs we digest
a service rendered out of necessity
we take what we want and burn the rest
embers scorch the putrid mire
your epitaph is written in fire
chorus-
eyeballs protrude and pop one by one
as limbs are fused and smelted ichor runs
the remenants of the graveyard we ignite
cadaverous kindling Cremator sets alight
Burn!!!
scraping the grate of encrusted slag
molten entrails and adipocere
cauterization, so complete
crumbling flesh and boiling tears
inflammable gore is consigned to the flames
simmering blood is scorched to coke
hammers pulverise bones and teeth
as cremains fill the air with smoke
arsonists from the dawn to dusk
transforming you from death to dust
chorus-
eyeballs protrude and pop one by one
as limbs are fused and smelted ichor runs
the remenants of the graveyard we ignite
