List of Death Note episodes

Death Note is a 37-episode anime series based on the manga series of the same title written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. Death Note aired in Japan on the Nippon Television (NTV) network every Tuesday, from October 3, 2006, to June 26, 2007. The plot of the series primarily revolves around high school student Light Yagami, who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook titled Death Note. This book causes the death of anyone whose name is written in it and is passed on to Light by the God of Death (or Shinigami) Ryuk after he becomes bored within the Shinigami world.

A three-hour "Director's Cut" compilation TV special, titled "Death Note: Relight: Visions of a God", aired on NTV a few months after the anime concluded. Although advertised to be the "complete conclusion", the popularity of the series inspired the release of a second TV special, titled "Death Note: Relight 2: L's Successors" nearly a year later. These specials recap the first and second arcs of the anime respectively, with new scenes added to fill in any plot holes resulted from omitted footage.

Friend (EP)

Friend is an EP by the Brooklyn-based band Grizzly Bear, their first release following the critically acclaimed Yellow House. It was released on November 5, 2007 on Warp Records. The EP has tracks recorded during sessions for the Yellow House album, as well as covers of their songs by Band of Horses, CSS, and Atlas Sound.

News Feed

On September 6, 2006, Ruchi Sanghvi announced a new home page feature called News Feed. Originally, when users logged into Facebook, they were presented with a customizable version of their own profile. The new layout, by contrast, created an alternative home page in which users saw a constantly updated list of their friends' Facebook activity. News Feed highlights information that includes profile changes, upcoming events, and birthdays, among other updates. This has enabled spammers and other users to manipulate these features by creating illegitimate events or posting fake birthdays to attract attention to their profile or cause. News Feed also shows conversations taking place between the walls of a user's friends. An integral part of the News Feed interface is the Mini Feed, a news stream on the user's profile page that shows updates about that user. Unlike in the News Feed, the user can delete events from the Mini Feed after they appear so that they are no longer visible to profile visitors. In 2011 Facebook updated the News Feed to show top stories and most recent stories in one feed, and the option to highlight stories to make them top stories, as well as to un-highlight stories. In response to users' criticism, Facebook later updated the News Feed to allow users to view recent stories first.

Relish

A relish is a cooked, pickled, or chopped vegetable or fruit food item typically used as a condiment in particular to enhance a staple. In the United States, the word relish is frequently used to describe a single variety of relish -- pickle or dill relish, made from finely chopped pickled cucumbers. Such relish is commonly used as a condiment, and is an important ingredient in many varieties of the U.S. version of tartar sauce.

It originated in India and has since become popular throughout the world. Examples are jams, chutneys, and the North American relish, a pickled cucumber jam eaten with hot dogs or hamburgers.

Description and ingredients

The item generally consists of discernible vegetable or fruit pieces in a sauce, although the sauce is subordinate in character to the vegetable or fruit pieces. It might consist of a single type of vegetable or fruit, or a combination of these. These fruits or vegetables might be coarsely or finely chopped, but generally a relish is not as smooth as a sauce-type condiment, such as ketchup. The overall taste sensation might be sweet or savory, hot or mild, but it is always a strong flavor that complements or adds to the primary food item with which it is served.

Hollyoaks village

Hollyoaks is the main setting for the series. It is a fictional village in Chester, Cheshire. The majority of the characters live in the centre of the village, however some, for example the McQueens live just outside. Outside the centre includes Hollyoaks Comprehensive school and a number of flats in which many characters live or have lived. Also a cemetery, swimming pool and a number of houses. Many characters have been seen to go to nearby Liverpool and Manchester for nights out or to get away from village stress. The exterior of the village's buildings resembles the Chester Rows and other Tudor architecture.

Relish (American band)

Relish was an American band in the 1990s. Originating in Fullerton, California, Relish was composed of Michele Walker (vocals, guitar), Laurita Guaico (guitar, vocals), Gina Karaba (bass, vocals), and Lynnae Hitchcock (drums, vocals). Performing extensively through Southern California, as well as participating in the Warped Tour, they released a full-length self-titled CD in 1999 and a 7" single on Volcom Entertainment before disbanding.

Their music has been described as Black Sabbath meets Guided by Voices, featuring heavy guitars and unconventional time signatures.

Michele Walker now performs as a solo artist, Laurita Guaico currently plays bass for Spare Parts For Broken Hearts and previously was a member of The Randies, Gina Karaba is a renowned glass sculptor, and until recently, Lynnae Hitchcock was a member of the Human Valve. Sarah Green joined Relish in 1999, after Gina Karaba left the band. Sarah was with Relish as a bass player until they disbanded; after recording their last EP with limited release. Sarah Green and Laurita Guaico went on to form the band, Spare Parts for Broken Hearts and are still making records under that name.
