Freshman

A freshman is a term commonly used to mean a person entering the first year of an educational institution.

Arab countries

In the Gulf Council countries (GCC), a fresher is called Mustajid (مُستجد), which means one who is new to something.

Australia and New Zealand

The term 'freshman' is not commonly used in Australia or New Zealand. The term first year is used within Australia and New Zealand universities primarily to describe students in their first year of tertiary education direct from secondary school, the exception being the University of Otago where the term 'fresher' is employed. In Australia, Year 7 (eight in some states) is the first year of high school education; in New Zealand, Year Nine is the first year of Secondary Education—in contrast to North America, where the ninth grade or "freshman year" is the first year. In New Zealand, year nine students are sometimes referred to as "Turds" as a derogatory reference to the old form system, as year nine was previously known as third form.

Freshmen (magazine)

Freshmen was an American pornographic magazine published monthly by Specialty Publications, a division of LPI Media from 1982 to 2009. The magazine was geared toward gay men, and featured nude photos of men, 18–25 years old. The magazine was soft core, and distributed to mainstream news outlets, and to the soft core sections of adult stores. It was available in all Ruben Sturmen influenced outlets, probably due to the Flynt Distributing connection. It was distributed by Flynt Distributing, of the Larry Flynt empire. Its first editions featured all color photography with very high production values. It also regularly featured male models with erections, which set this magazine apart from competitors when it first appeared. It was published in a 10-issue per calendar year format, to accommodate the Flynt Distributing model, which put the current month publication on the stands with a next month date. After 2000, the focus was on top-line male porn models from Bel Ami, Falcon and other adult-video production companies. Other items, such as calendars, were also published using the same label.

Freshmen (album)

Freshmen is the second album released by New Zealand hip-hop group, Nesian Mystik, in 2006. The album entered the New Zealand charts at number 8, and was certified gold by the end of the first week of sales.

Triangular prism

In geometry, a triangular prism is a three-sided prism; it is a polyhedron made of a triangular base, a translated copy, and 3 faces joining corresponding sides. A right triangular prism has rectangular sides, otherwise it is oblique. A uniform triagular prism is a right triangular prism with equilateral bases, and square sides.

Equivalently, it is a pentahedron of which two faces are parallel, while the surface normals of the other three are in the same plane (which is not necessarily parallel to the base planes). These three faces are parallelograms. All cross-sections parallel to the base faces are the same triangle.

As a semiregular (or uniform) polyhedron

A right triangular prism is semiregular or, more generally, a uniform polyhedron if the base faces are equilateral triangles, and the other three faces are squares. It can be seen as a truncated trigonal hosohedron, represented by Schläfli symbol t{2,3}. Alternately it can be seen as the Cartesian product of a triangle and a line segment, and represented by the product {3}x{}. The dual of a triangular prism is a triangular bipyramid.

Trip (Cause and Effect album)

Trip is the second album from the synthpop act Cause and Effect. It is dedicated to the memory of Sean Rowley. The album includes the song "It's Over Now," which climbed to the #7 spot on Billboard's modern rock charts. It was released in 1994 under the BMG label.

The Time Force Rangers are fictional characters and heroes in the Power Rangers universe, appearing in the television series Power Rangers Time Force. They are members of the Time Force organisation, law-enforcement officers sent from the future to prevent changes in the past.

Wesley "Wes" Collins

Wesley Collins is the Red Time Force Ranger and second-in-command of the team.

Though technically Jen is the leader of the team, as Red Ranger, Wes is considered an informal field leader, ever since regaining the Red Chrono Morpher from Alex. A similar situation was used in the earlier series Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers in which the character Delphine, the White Ranger, is the leader, but stories revolved around the Blue Ranger, Cestro.
