"La voix" ("The voice") is a song by Swedish singer Malena Ernman, and was the Swedish entry at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Moscow, Russia. It was composed by Fredrik Kempe, with lyrics by both Kempe and Ernman. It is the first Swedish entry to contain lyrics in French.
The song was the winner of Melodifestivalen 2009 on 14 March 2009, and competed for Sweden in the first semi-final of Eurovision 2009 on 12 May 2009. The song qualified for the final round where it finished 21st place with 33 points, making it Sweden's second lowest placing in the Contest since 1992's "I morgon är en annan dag" (#22), and also the second time the country failed to place within the Top 20.
In 2010, the song was covered by Russian pop singer Philipp Kirkorov and opera singer Anna Netrebko with Kirkorov singing verses and Netrebko singing chorus. They recorded two versions of the song, one with original French and English lyrics and other sang exclusively in Russian.
The song has also been used as the backing track for the musical documentary 'Spaceplane Sailing'. The short film covers the 33-mission career of the Space Shuttle Atlantis and was premiered on YouTube in February 2013.
free {love} is a Cantopop album by HOCC (Denise Ho). The limited and normal edition were released on September 28, 2002 and October 23, 2002 respectively. This is the first album of hocc. Compare with the older two EP of her, this album has a totally different style. The songs are of less rock elements but more cantopop alike. You may also regard this cd as her experimental release which aims at seeking a point she can have her own style while satisfying the Hong Kong pop song market. The first edition also features an 80-page lyrics/picture book, a "HOCC Live Thoughts" CD and a 2002-2003 Calendar.
Free love is a social movement that rejects marriage, which is seen as a form of social and financial bondage. The Free Love movement's initial goal was to separate the state from sexual matters such as marriage, birth control, and adultery. It claimed that such issues were the concern of the people involved, and no one else.
Much of the free-love tradition is an offshoot of anarchism, and reflects a libertarian philosophy that seeks freedom from state regulation and church interference in personal relationships. According to this concept, the free unions of adults are legitimate relations which should be respected by all third parties whether they are emotional or sexual relations. In addition, some free-love writing has argued that both men and women have the right to sexual pleasure without social or legal restraints. In the Victorian era, this was a radical notion. Later, a new theme developed, linking free love with radical social change, and depicting it as a harbinger of a new anti-authoritarian, anti-repressive sensibility.
