Four Live (New Zealand)

Four Live (stylised as FOUR Live) was a New Zealand topical entertainment show, airing weekday afternoons (4.30-6pm) on FOUR. It is hosted by Drew Neemia and Kanoa Lloyd. Many guests appear on the show to feature the latest in music, fashion, entertainment, gaming and film.

FOUR Live encourages viewers to take part in the show through their Facebook and Twitter. The show asked the opinions from viewers on their daily topic post and the presenters address those opinions from viewers throughout the show. The show allowed viewers to win prizes through live on air telephone competitions, text in competitions and online competitions.

It was replaced by Smash! in 2014. In 2015, Smash! moved exclusively to The Edge TV.

Viewer requested music videos

Viewers were able to request music videos throughout the show on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Text codes that correspond to a music video scrolled along the bottom of the screen. Viewers were charged 50 cents when sending a text to 4440 and their request was taken on board for consideration to be played out on-air. Music video requests could be made on the FOUR Live Facebook and Twitter page, but whether or not the request is fulfilled was up to the presenters and directors. Four Live (Irish TV series)

Four Live is a former live flagship daytime show on RTÉ One. The programme, which was broadcast before The Daily Show, launched on Monday 20 September 2010. It replaced The Afternoon Show.

Four Live was presented by Maura Derrane. With a mix of lifestyle, information and fun items. The show included cookery, fashion, health, fitness, parenting, life-coaching and celebrity gossip. Viewers also had the opportunity to text, phone and e-mail in interjections, views, experiences and opinions.

Four Live ended on 2 March 2012. Due to budget cutbacks at RTÉ

Maura Derrane

Derrane started her career on Nuacht TG4 as a reporter. She then moved TV3 News as a reporter and then on to TV3's flagship morning showIreland AM. In 2008, she left TV as she wanted to spend more time with her family; she is married to a Fine Gael TD. During this time she presented a TV3 series called Living with Murder and a TG4 reality TV series called Feirm Factor. On 5 October 2009 she began presenting The Afternoon Show, which was then replaced with 4 Live.
