Ross Copperman was born on October 1, 1982 and grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. He attended Glenvar High School in Roanoke County. He started playing the piano at age 3, and started writing songs in college at James Madison University. The first song he wrote is titled "Fly Away", and it appears on his studio debut album. He says that it was only after the urging of his teacher (who had listened to this song) that he was convinced to take up music professionally.
"Found You" is a single released by Ross Copperman in the UK on 25 August 2007, as the second single from his album Welcome To Reality. It reached number 68 on the UK Singles Chart.
According to an interview conducted with Copperman and appearing on YouTube, he wrote the song after he was approached by a girl whose beauty "he was blinded by" and he didn't know what to say. He adds that only felt that only he saw the smile she directed to him. He mentions that he went home and wrote it in an hour following the incident.
The video, directed by Frank Borin, starts off with Ross standing on top of a plane with sunset in the background. After the ending of the first chorus we see Ross' love interest and most of the video henceforth switches between him singing and playing the piano with the band in the background and between him chasing her.

You said you could see no end
The world and himself were all on your back
I vowed to take your hand
Show the world in a different light
All that you've done
You've got to believe
In all of your dreams
No matter what the world can throw at you
You know you can believe
Believe in me
And after all
I'll still believe in you
And even if you cannot see
The brighter light ahead i'll see
You must believe, believe in me
And after all I'll still believe in you
I'll put away the clouds
That cover you up that leave you down
I won't leave you all alone
I'll be there for you in your darkest hour
And all that you've done
You've got to believe
In all of your dreams
No matter what the world can throw at you
You know you can believe, believe in me
And after all I'll still believe in you
And even if you cannot see
The brighter light ahead I'll see
You must believe, believe in me
And after all I'll still believe in you
And when it's dark outside
I'll protect you from the night
My shoulder you can rely
I won't do you wrong
All that you've done
You've got to believe
In all of your dreams, all of your dreams
No matter what the world can throw at you
You know you can believe, believe in me
And after all, I'll still believe in you
And even if you cannot see
The brighter light ahead I'll see
You must believe, believe in me
