Forever (Kiss song)

"Forever" is a song by the American rock band Kiss. It was released as the second single from the 1989 album Hot in the Shade.

Background

The track was co-written by guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley and singer/songwriter Michael Bolton. Bolton was then at the peak of his commercial popularity, and Bruce Kulick had performed with him prior to joining Kiss.

Musically, "Forever" is a power ballad. It begins with Stanley singing over an acoustic guitar intro, with the rest of the band joining during the first chorus.

The song was remixed at Electric Lady Recording Studios in New York, by Michael Barbiero and Steve Thompson for commercial release as a single. A music video was released to promote the song. It received heavy airplay on MTV, attaining the #1 position on the channel's "Most Requested Videos" show several times. The clip is perhaps the most understated video Kiss has released, as it shows the band (then consisting of Stanley, Gene Simmons, Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr) playing the song in an empty room.

Frail Words Collapse

Frail Words Collapse is the second studio album by American metalcore band As I Lay Dying. The album is their first release on the record label Metal Blade Records. Only two of the five current band-members (drummer Jordan Mancino and frontman Tim Lambesis) appeared on the album. Two of the band's signature songs, "94 Hours" and "Forever", appear on the album.

Music videos have been produced for the songs "94 Hours" and "Forever." The album has sold 250,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Unite (The O.C. Supertones album)

Unite is The O.C. Supertones eighth album. It is a Collection of Hits from throughout the bands career. The band entered the studio for the last time to take part in this best of collection. They intended to record some new songs for the collection, but due to heavy touring, the band could not finish the new songs. As a result, the band re-recorded some old songs. There were more than two songs recorded though. The band also re-recorded Grounded, Strike Back, and Unite, but were never released. Also recorded were new versions of "Hold Onto Jesus" and a Reggae version of "Louder Than the Mob" for their worship collection, "Faith of a Child."

Unite the Union, commonly known as Unite, is a British and Irish trade union, formed on 1 May 2007, by the merger of Amicus and the Transport and General Workers' Union. It is the largest trade union in the UK and Ireland. The General Secretary of Unite is Len McCluskey.

On 2 July 2008, Unite signed an agreement to merge with the United Steelworkers to form a new global union entity called Workers Uniting which represents over 3 million members in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, North America and the Caribbean. Unite retains its separate identity in the United Kingdom.

As part of the merger process, a Joint Executive Council (formed of the executives of both the predecessor unions) took office on the vesting day. In March 2008, a new Executive Council for the expanded Union was elected, taking office on 1 May 2008 and having a three-year term.The Executive Council was tasked with putting a new Unite rulebook to a postal ballot of members during July 2008. The rule book was accepted by a majority of members and will not be subject to amendment until a Rules Conference is held.
