"Forever" is a pop song by German singer Sandra. It was released in October 2001 as the lead single from her seventh studio album The Wheel of Time. The song reached #47 on the official German Charts. "Forever" was written by Peter Reis and Wolfgang Filz and it was produced by Michael Cretu and Jens Gad. The photograph on the sleeve of "Forever" was shot by Dieter Eikelpoth. The Music video was directed by Thomas Job.

"Forever" is a song by the American rock band Kiss. It was released as the second single from the 1989 album Hot in the Shade.

Background

The track was co-written by guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley and singer/songwriter Michael Bolton. Bolton was then at the peak of his commercial popularity, and Bruce Kulick had performed with him prior to joining Kiss.

Musically, "Forever" is a power ballad. It begins with Stanley singing over an acoustic guitar intro, with the rest of the band joining during the first chorus.

The song was remixed at Electric Lady Recording Studios in New York, by Michael Barbiero and Steve Thompson for commercial release as a single. A music video was released to promote the song. It received heavy airplay on MTV, attaining the #1 position on the channel's "Most Requested Videos" show several times. The clip is perhaps the most understated video Kiss has released, as it shows the band (then consisting of Stanley, Gene Simmons, Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr) playing the song in an empty room.

Frail Words Collapse is the second studio album by American metalcore band As I Lay Dying. The album is their first release on the record label Metal Blade Records. Only two of the five current band-members (drummer Jordan Mancino and frontman Tim Lambesis) appeared on the album. Two of the band's signature songs, "94 Hours" and "Forever", appear on the album.

Music videos have been produced for the songs "94 Hours" and "Forever." The album has sold 250,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Sandra (orangutan)

Sandra is an orangutan living in Buenos Aires Zoo.

On December 18, 2014, a hybrid orangutan named Sandra, born February 14, 1986 in Rostock Zoo in Germany, was termed by the court in Argentina as a "subject of rights" in an unsuccessful habeas corpus case regarding the release of the orangutan from captivity at the Buenos Aires zoo. The decision turning down the habeas corpus application also led to the court's direction to prosecute alleged cruelty by the zoo through the prosecutor's office in Buenos Aires in 2015. The brief "subject of rights" statement left the status of the orangutan Sandra as a "non-human being" uncertain legally, until on Oct. 21, 2015, Justice Elena Amanda Liberatori ruled in an amparo case with Sandra that the orangutan is "una persona no humana" or "a non-human person" and ordered the city of Buenos Aires to provide what is “necessary to preserve her cognitive abilities.” A few days after the decision, both sides said they would appeal.

It was initially widely reported in the media that Sandra was declared a "non-human person" by the court on December 18, 2014, but that was a legal interpretation by the association of lawyers for animal rights in Argentina, ALFADA, that was pursuing court cases on behalf of Sandra, and was not explicitly in the wording of the court statement, until Justice Liberatori interpreted the previous ruling in her decision.

Sandra Ann Lauer, commonly known under her stage name Sandra (German pronunciation: [ˈzandʁa]; born 18 May 1962) is a German pop singer, who enjoyed a mainstream popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with a string of European hit singles, produced by her then-husband and musical partner, Michael Cretu, most notably "(I'll Never Be) Maria Magdalena" (1985), "In the Heat of the Night" (1985), "Everlasting Love" (1987), "Secret Land" (1988), "Hiroshima" (1990) and "Don't Be Aggressive" (1992).
