Feminine Fancy
Feminine Fancy is the name of a Country and Western album by Dottie West which she recorded in the latter half of 1968 at RCA Victor Studio in Nashville, Tennessee with Chet Atkins producing. Essentially Feminine Fancy was a tribute album to female vocalists, most of its tracks being covers of signature songs of Pop singers - Patti Page, Vikki Carr, Sarah Vaughan, Brenda Lee, Buffy Sainte-Marie - and C&W singers - Skeeter Davis, Tammy Wynette, Jeannie C. Riley. None of the tracks were released as a single by RCA, perhaps the reason the album peaked at only #39 on the "Top Country Albums" chart in 1968.
