Ronald Douglas "Ronnie" Montrose (29 November 1947 – 3 March 2012) was an American rock guitarist, who led the bands Montrose (1973-77 & 1987) and Gamma (1979-83 & 2000) and also performed and did session work with a variety of musicians, including Van Morrison (1971–72), Herbie Hancock (1971), Beaver & Krause (1971), Boz Scaggs (1971), Edgar Winter (1972 & 1996), Gary Wright (1975), The Beau Brummels (1975), Dan Hartman (1976), Tony Williams (1978), The Neville Brothers (1987), Marc Bonilla (1991 & 1993), Sammy Hagar (1997), and Johnny Winter. The first Montrose album was often cited as "America's answer to Led Zeppelin" and Ronnie Montrose was often referred to as one of the most influential guitarists in American hard rock.
Montrose was born in San Francisco, California. When he was a toddler, his parents moved back to his mother's home state of Colorado (his father was from Bertrand, Nebraska, and his mother was from Golden, Colorado). He spent most of his younger years in Denver, Colorado until he ran away at about 16 years old to pursue his musical career. He ultimately spent most of his life in the San Francisco Bay area.
Feet First is a 1930 American Pre-Code comedy film starring Harold Lloyd, a very popular daredevil comedian during the 1920s and early 1930s. It was Lloyd's second and most popular sound ('talkie') feature. It is also one of his 'thrill' comedies, involving him climbing up a tall building. Harold Lloyd was one of very few silent film actors who successfully adapted to sound.
Harold Horne, an ambitious shoe salesman in Honolulu, unknowingly meets the boss' secretary Barbara (Barbara Kent) - thinking she is the boss' daughter - and tells her he is a millionaire leather tycoon.
Horne spends much of his time around Barbara hiding his true circumstances, in both the shoe store and later as an (accidental) stowaway on board a ship. Trying to deliver a letter, he becomes trapped in a mailbag, which is taken off the ship and falls off a delivery van onto a window cleaner's cradle, which is hoisted upwards. Escaping from the bag, he finds himself dangling high above the streets of Los Angeles. After several thwarted attempts to get inside the building, he climbs to the very top, only to slip off - unaware his foot is caught on the end of a rope, which rescues him inches from the ground.
I hate those guts
Someone vanishes today
You stupid, sick, crippled bitch
The payback time has come
You are living through these days
By killing everything that lives
Where do you stand
And which way are you looking at?
I will eat you feet first
You slow minded bastard
All your friends are gone
It must feel bad to be alone
Your government has turned its back
And you are not needed anywhere anymore
The hole in your head is used by someone else
Your mouth releases words you do not even know
I will eat you feet first
You slow minded bastard
You're eaten alive, pray for your death
From your feet, from your feet to head
I'll eat you until you're dead
You are in charge of the leadership
Of the nation that kills other nations
Your feet will be gone when I'm done
The rest will be digested after your death
I hate those guts
Someone vanishes today
You stupid, sick, crippled bitch
The payback time has come
You are living through these days
By killing everything that lives
Where do you stand
And which way are you looking at?
I will eat you feet first
