Finger Eleven

Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven total studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album The Greyest of Blue Skies bringing them into the mainstream. The 2003 self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single "One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. Their 2007 album, Them vs. You vs. Me, launched the single "Paralyzer", which went on to top numerous charts including the Canadian Hot 100 and both US rock charts, as well as reaching No. 6 on the US Hot 100 and No. 12 on the Australian Singles Chart. They won the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year in 2008. It was later certified gold status in the US and multi platinum in Canada. They released their sixth studio album, Life Turns Electric, on October 5, 2010; it was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Rock Album of the Year. They released their first single, "Living in a Dream", adding a little bit of more of funk rock and dance rock, just like their hit song "Paralyzer". Five Crooked Lines, their 7th studio album, was released July 31, 2015, with "Wolves and Doors" as the lead single.

Above (magazine)

Above magazine started as a biannual publication dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection. Its motto is "For The Earth". The first issue came out in the summer of 2009.

Above has been described as "cutting edge", a magazine using luxury, fashion, art ("eco-art"), photography, architecture, and design to raise awareness of the endangered environment. The magazine is the brainchild of editor-in-chief Nicolas Rachline, grandson of Publicis founder Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet. Rachline told Reuters: "Our goal is to become the destination publication for information and hopefully inspiration, about how to save beauty and preserve the environment on both collective and individual levels."

The Above Brand is now primarily focused on Above Live. Above Live is a content-driven platform dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection. Above Live promotes and creates Take Action campaigns around environmental issues. Above Live is currently under renovation and will increasingly focus on what it calls its 360° approach to environmental issues, mixing a reportage and interview style format with take action campaigns allowing the audience to participate directly and in a concrete way in the global effort toward more sustainability. It is also the company's intention to revive Above Magazine as a print publication as soon as the spring of 2013.

Above (Pillar album)

Above is the major label debut album of Christian rock band Pillar, released on September 26, 2000. The song "Open Your Eyes" won a Dove Award in 2001 for Hard Music Song of the Year. Most of the tracks had been previously released on their independent album Original Superman. In 2006, Pillar stopped performing any songs from "Above" during live shows.

Feelings (Morris Albert song)

"Feelings" is a 1974 song with lyrics written by Brazilian singer Morris Albert, set to the tune of "Pour Toi," separately composed by Louis “Loulou” Gasté in 1957. Albert recorded "Feelings" as a single and later included it as the title track of his 1975 debut album. The song's lyrics, recognizable by their "whoa whoa whoa" chorus, concern the singer's inability to "forget my feelings of love". Albert's original recording of the song was very successful, performing well internationally. "Feelings" peaked at #6 on the pop and #2 on the Adult Contemporary charts in America.

Over the next few years "Feelings" was performed by many other vocalists including Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Salena Jones, Angelica Maria, Petula Clark, José José, Caetano Veloso, Engelbert Humperdinck, Muslim Magomayev, Shirley Bassey, Glen Campbell, The O'Jays, Sarah Vaughan, Walter Jackson, Sergey Penkin, Julio Iglesias, Dobie Gray and Johnny Mathis. It was also recorded by numerous easy listening bandleaders and ensembles such as Percy Faith, Ferrante & Teicher, 101 Strings and Herb Ohta whose ukulele rendition was recorded with André Popp's orchestra for A&M Records.

Selena singles discography

American singer Selena released 15 singles, 13 promotional singles, three soundtrack singles, three other charted songs, one charity record, and made nine other appearances throughout her career. In 1989, Selena released her self-titled debut album, under EMI Latin. Three singles were released, "Contigo Quiero Estar", "Mentiras", and "Sukiyaki". The latter peaked at number eight on the US Hot Latin Tracks chart, becoming Selena's first charting single, while the former was a cover song by Japanese crooner Kyu Sakamoto. "Buenos Amigos", a duet with Salvadoran recording artist Álvaro Torres, peaked at number one on the Hot Latin Tracks chart, giving Selena her first number one single. "Baila Esta Cumbia", the lead single from Ven Conmigo (1990) peaked within the top ten on the Latin Regional Digital Songs chart. Ven Conmigo yielded two other singles, "Ya Ves" and "La Tracalera", the latter peaked at number 20 on the Latin Regional Digital Songs chart. In 1992, Selena released her third studio album, Entre a Mi Mundo, which spawned four singles, "La Carcacha", "¿Qué Creías?" and "Amame" which attained the top 30 positions on the Latin charts, while "Como La Flor" became Selena's signature song as well as being one of her most popular songs after it peaked at number six on the Hot Latin Tracks.
