Soundz, whose real name is Kenneth C. Coby, was born in Milwaukee, and grew up in Decatur on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. His parents relocated from Milwaukee to pursue careers in the music industry. While his parents worked, Soundz attended Redan High School, where he developed a passion for basketball. Although he aimed to become a professional basketball player, he was dismissed from the school team during his senior year.
He eventually used his time writing music and rapping, as he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Jay-Z. He initially called himself "Soundmind", then changed it to "Sounds" and eventually "Soundz".
Soundz was eventually noticed by Usher, who heard a track produced by Soundz for One Chance titled "Look at Her". He offered Soundz an opportunity to work with him, which the producer accepted.
Soundz is now under Redzone Management Infra-Red Management.
Soundz worked with Ciara on her fourth studio album, "Basic Instinct" (2010). He and Tricky Stewart co-produced the album's third single "Gimmie Dat". He is also currently working on Ciara's upcoming fifth studio album, and debut release with Epic Records.

[Verse]
Red bottom poppin' in VIP
It’s all, won't you come here
Let me put it on you
I just I just I just wanna try, try
Sing a lil' lullaby, by
We can move fast, then slow
Amplify me up but please don't blow me
Baby, baby let me light the fuse, fuse
Won't you let me show you what it do, do
[Hook]
Baby we should go oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass,
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
Boom
Just a little more, oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
Boom
[Verse]
She wrap the piece down her hip
The flame dropper
Keep the bass bass
Tear, tear the whole block up
Woa-a-a tear the whole block up
Baby I should, how you make it sound like that
Got it bumping round like that
Putting on the choke, you put it down like that
Ain't no other honestly
Bang bang as hard as me
New king in this r&b
[Hook]
Baby we should go oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass,
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
Boom
Just a little more, oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
Boom
[Bridge]
Whatchu' gon' do
'Cause now I be thinking of you
When I'm hearing this song
Fela-le-le that remember you
I'm nothing but the boom
Breaking this off
Whatchu' gon' do
'Cause now I be thinking of you
When I'm hearing this song
Toast it a le-le that's remember you
I'm nothing but the boom
Breaking this off
[Hook]
Baby we should go oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass,
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
Boom
Just a little more, oh
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
(Somewhere where we could)
Feel the bass
