Fót is a town in Pest county, Budapest metropolitan area, Hungary.

Location

Fót is about 17 km (10.56 mi) north of the edge of Budapest. The North Hungarian foothills lie to the west. The nearest settlement to the west is Dunakeszi, to the northeast are Csomád and Veresegyház, to the east is Mogyoród and Budapest is to the south. The highest point of nearby Somlyó Hill reaches 287 m above sea-level.

Architecture

The older areas of Fót feature the notable Catholic Szeplőtelen Fogantatás (Immaculate Conception) Church, built between 1845 and 1855, and the Károlyi Palace, both designed by architect Miklós Ybl.

Steyr AUG

The Steyr AUG is an Austrian bullpup 5.56×45mm NATO assault rifle, designed in the 1960s by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch). The AUG (Armee-Universal-Gewehr—"universal army rifle") was adopted by the Austrian Army as the StG 77 (Sturmgewehr 77) in 1978, where it replaced the 7.62×51mm StG 58 automatic rifle (a licence-built FN FAL). In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian Bundesheer and various national police units.

The rifle and its variants have also been adopted by the armed forces of Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Pakistan, the Falkland Islands Defence Force and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Design details

The AUG, a bullpup 5.56×45mm automatic rifle, is a selective-fire weapon with a conventional gas-piston-operated action that fires from a closed bolt. Designed as a family of rifles that could be quickly adapted to a wide variety of roles with the change of the barrel to a desired length and profile, the AUG is a modular configuration rifle that employs a high level of polymer and advanced alloy components.

Dioxygen difluoride

Dioxygen difluoride is a compound of fluorine and oxygen with the molecular formula O
2F
2. It exists as an orange solid that melts into a red liquid at −163 °C (110 K). It is an extremely strong oxidant and decomposes into oxygen and fluorine even at −160 °C (113 K) at a rate of 4% per day: its lifetime at room temperature is thus extremely short. Dioxygen difluoride reacts with nearly every chemical it encounters – even ordinary ice – leading to its onomatopoeic nickname "FOOF" (a play on its chemical structure).

The material has no practical applications, but has been of theoretical interest. One laboratory's use of it was the synthesis of plutonium hexafluoride at unprecedentedly low temperatures, which was significant because previous methods for its preparation needed temperatures so high that the plutonium hexafluoride created would rapidly decompose.

Preparation

Dioxygen difluoride can be obtained by subjecting a 1:1 mixture of gaseous fluorine and oxygen at low pressure (7–17 mmHg is optimal) to an electric discharge of 25–30 mA at 2.1–2.4 kV. A similar method was used for the first synthesis by Otto Ruff in 1933. Another synthesis involves mixing O
2 and F
2 in a stainless steel vessel cooled to −196 °C (77.1 K), followed by exposing the elements to 6987480652946100000♠3 MeV bremsstrahlung for several hours. A third method requires heating a mix of fluorine and oxygen to 700 °C (1,292 °F), and then rapidly cooling it using liquid oxygen. All of these methods involve synthesis according to the equation:

F.T.F.O. (Fuck The Fuck Off) is the debut solo album from American rapper Shaggy 2 Dope, an artist better known as half of the duo Insane Clown Posse (ICP). Released in 2006 and produced by Mike E. Clark, it is his first full-length solo release. The album art alludes to the ICP tradition of spraying the audience (and themselves) with the American soft drink Faygo.
