Command (computing)

In computing, a command is a directive to a computer program acting as an interpreter of some kind, in order to perform a specific task. Most commonly a command is either a directive to some kind of command-line interface, such as a shell, or an event in a graphical user interface triggered by the user selecting an option in a menu.

Specifically, the term command is used in imperative computer languages. These languages are called this, because statements in these languages are usually written in a manner similar to the imperative mood used in many natural languages. If one views a statement in an imperative language as being like a sentence in a natural language, then a command is generally like a verb in such a language.

Many programs allow specially formatted arguments, known as flags or options, which modify the default behaviour of the command, while further arguments describe what the command acts on. Comparing to a natural language: the flags are adverbs, whilst the other arguments are objects.

Command (teaching style)

The Command teaching style is the closest approximation to the traditional system of education under the progressive teaching technology, Student-Directed Teaching.

As part of the five distinct teaching styles developed by Don Green, Command is the most readily understood by students, as it is most similar to what they are used to from the public system. As Don Green describes it,

The Command teaching style is for those students whose learning characteristics require formal instruction and a specific assignment for the practice to be appropriate for the student to master the objective. These students need to be directed as to what they will do during the class time allocated to the specific subject being studied.

The Command (2005 film)

The Command (Persian: حکم‎‎) lit. is a 2005 in film Iranian film directed by Masoud Kimiai. It stars Poulad Kimiai, Ezzatollah Entezami, Khosro Shakibai, Leila Hatami, Bahram Radan. It is the 25th film by Kimiai. The film tells the story of gangster relations in Iran and a love story between two former lovers.

Plot

Mohsen (Poulad Kimiai), Foroozandeh (Leila Hatami) are two former couple.They and Sahand (Bahram Radan) who is their friend go to an Engineer manager's house to rob his safe. After that they go to Reza Maroufi (Ezzatollah Entezami), an old retired gangster to take a fake passport for Foroozandeh. Mohsen and Forozandeh struggle in the way and Foroozandeh returns to Tehran. Maroufi and Sahand also come back to Maroufi's house in Tehran and They see Foroozandeh that is injured by Mohsen .....

.onion

.onion is a special-use top level domain suffix designating an anonymous hidden service reachable via the Tor network. Such addresses are not actual DNS names, and the .onion TLD is not in the Internet DNS root, but with the appropriate proxy software installed, Internet programs such as web browsers can access sites with .onion addresses by sending the request through the network of Tor servers. The purpose of using such a system is to make both the information provider and the person accessing the information more difficult to trace, whether by one another, by an intermediate network host, or by an outsider.

Format

Addresses in the .onion TLD are generally opaque, non-mnemonic, 16-character alpha-semi-numeric hashes which are automatically generated based on a public key when a hidden service is configured. These 16-character hashes can be made up of any letter of the alphabet, and decimal digits from 2 to 7, thus representing an 80-bit number in base32. It is possible to set up a human-readable .onion URL (e.g. starting with an organization name) by generating massive numbers of key pairs (a computational process that can be parallelized) until a sufficiently desirable URL is found.

Exit (festival)

Exit (Literary Serbian: Егзит, Egzit) is an award-winning summer music festival which is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. It was officially proclaimed as the 'Best Major European festival' at the EU Festival Awards, which were held in Groningen in January 2014, while it's sea edition Sea Dance festival won the "Best Mid-Sized European festival" Award in 2015. The EU Festival Award is considered as one of the most prestigious festival awards in the world.

The festival was founded in 2000 in the University park as a student movement, fighting for democracy and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans. After the democratic changes happened in Serbia, Exit moved to the Petrovaradin fortress in 2001. Nonetheless, social responsibility is still key aspect of the festival activities.

Exit has won the 'Best Overseas Festival' award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007, 'Best Major Festival Award' in 2013 and was ranked one of the 10 best major festivals at European Festivals Awards 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and one of the 10 Best Overseas Festival at UK Festival Awards 2013.
