Exclusive (EP)

Exclusive is a digital EP by the Irish rock band U2, released exclusively on the iTunes Store in 2003. The EP was the band's first digital-only release.

The acoustic version of "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" was mixed by Steve Lillywhite. It was previously available on the Canadian "Stuck in a Moment" single and the European and Australian "Walk On" single in 2001. It was also available on the U.S. only EP, 7.

The two live tracks were recorded during an Elevation Tour show in Boston, Massachusetts on 6 June 2001. This show was also filmed for and released as the Elevation 2001: Live from Boston DVD in 2001.

Exclusive (album)

Exclusive is the second studio album by American recording artist Chris Brown. It was released on November 6, 2007, by his independently-owned record label CBE, along with Jive Records; distributed by Zomba Group. The album was serving as the follow-up to his multi-platinum selling debut album Chris Brown (2005).

The album was critically and commercially successful, debuting at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, selling 295,000 copies in the first week. The album was supported by five singles; including three Billboard Hot 100, which successfully entered in the music markets, entering the top 20 amongst other charts worldwide. The album has earned double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States, and the album sales it stands at three million copies in the worldwide. The album ranked number 34 on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007.

On June 3, 2008, Exclusive was re-released, when it has expanded into a double-disc deluxe edition; including a counterparts from the DVD, which was also released, which features the behind the scenes footage and music videos from his tour.

Exclusive (horse)

Exclusive (foaled 8 April 1995) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. As a juvenile, she won a strongly-contested race on her debut and the finished third in the Fillies' Mile. As a three-year-old in 1998 she finished third in the classic 1000 Guineas before recording her biggest win in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. After her retirement from racing, she became a very successful broodmare, being the ancestor of major winners including Chic and Integral.

Background

Exclusive was a chestnut mare with a white blaze and four white socks bred by her owner the Cheveley Park Stud. She was sired by Polar Falcon, an American-bred stallion who won the Lockinge Stakes and the Haydock Sprint Cup in 1991. As a breeding stallion his most influential offspring was Pivotal who won the Nunthorpe Stakes and became a very successful sire.

Exclusive's dam Exclusive Order, was a top-class racemare who won the Prix du Calvados, Prix de la Porte Maillot and Prix Maurice de Gheest. She later became a very successful broodmare, producing the 2000 Guineas winner Entrepreneur and the Epsom Oaks runner-up Dance A Dream. The name Exclusive has been used for several other racehorses including the dam of Exclusive Order's sire Exclusive Native.

Records (album)

Records is a compilation album by American rock band Foreigner, released in 1982 to span the band's first four albums through 1981. Along with their sophomore effort, Double Vision, this album is the group's best-selling record. It has been certified 7 x platinum by the RIAA. Some notable hits, such as "Blue Morning, Blue Day" are omitted.

679 Artists

679 Artists (formally known as Sixsevenine and 679 Recordings) was a Warner Music Group-owned record label based in London, England.

It was started by Nick Worthington who after leaving XL Recordings in 2001, started the company with Warner Music Group, and holds the position of MD and A&R Director. It is named "679" as this was the address of the Pure Groove record shop on Holloway Road.

The label's first release was The Streets' debut, Original Pirate Material (which was named The Observer's best album of the 2000s).

The label progressed with subsequent albums from artists including Death From Above 1979, The Futureheads, Kano, King Creosote and Mystery Jets, and also included the million-selling second Streets album, A Grand Don't Come for Free.

In 2011, it released Plan B's The Defamation of Strickland Banks which has sold over 1 million copies.

The founder of 679 has recently formed a new record label called 37 Adventures.

1605 (record label)

1605 (pronounced as sixteen-o-five) is a techno and tech-house record label, founded in 2007 by a Slovenian DJ and producer UMEK. With 140 releases by more than 250 artists 1605 is the biggest label UMEK has founded since Recycled Loops and Consumer Recreation. UMEK started the label to promote tracks from talented artists, regardless of their fame and the strength of previous releases.

Creative concept

The label's creative concept is based on its sound as well as on its visual appearance.

1605's sound relies on UMEK's creative feeling as he acts as A&R manager and decides personally which tracks are signed by the label. Tracks are usually released digitally and sold online in various outlets such as Beatport, iTunes, Trackitdown, Juno and others. The only project, which was released also on a CD, was UMEK's 2010 album Responding to Dynamic.

1605's music can also be heard on the label's podcast and on websites such as Soundcloud and Mixcloud.

The label is also building its recognition by using a distinctive graphic design for artwork (release covers, promo material). Using only artwork in grayscale with occasional yellow tones, all release covers feature parts of vintage pictures from the 1930s Great Depression in the USA and personal drawings by the label's graphic designer.
