Joshua Bishop "Josh" Kelley (born January 30, 1980) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Kelley has recorded for Hollywood Records, Threshold Records and DNK Records as a pop rock artist, and has had four hit singles on the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart. His songs "Amazing" and "Only You" made top ten on that chart.
In 2010, Kelley signed to MCA Nashville and began a country music career. His debut single on the format, "Georgia Clay", became a Top 20 hit on the Hot Country Songs charts. Kelley is married to actress and model Katherine Heigl.
Kelley was born in Augusta, Georgia, the son of Gayle and Dr. John W. Kelley, a cardiologist. Kelley began his musical career at the age of 11. His younger brother, Charles Kelley, is also a musician and singer in the country trio Lady Antebellum. Kelley started at 11 with his guitar. While he was a teenager, he and his brother Charles formed a band called Inside Blue. By the time he was 14, the band released a CD with five songs on it, which led to a meeting with James Brown. Kelley played the guitar in the high school jazz band alongside his brother Charles (drums) and Dave Haywood (guitar) from Lady Antebellum.
"Everybody Wants You" is a hit song written and performed by American rock singer and guitarist Billy Squier. It appeared as the opening track of his multi-Platinum 1982 album Emotions in Motion, and was released as the second single (following the title track) from that album, reaching No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also reached number one on Billboard's Top Rock Tracks chart, holding the top spot for six weeks.
By this time, Squier had become one of the most popular artists on MTV. The music video for this track remained in heavy rotation for months on the cable channel.
The song features three guitars and a bass playing a "hard-rocking and funky" riff, and a "sleekly new wave-oriented production". It became a huge hit on both radio and MTV, topping the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks charts for six weeks, from August 28 to October 8, 1982. It was also a hit on the pop charts, debuting on the Billboard Top 40 on November 27, 1982 and peaking at number 32. It was Squier's third Top-40 hit, following "The Stroke" (number 17) and "In the Dark" (number 35).
I like the faces you make at me
When we're lying in bed
They are always so beautiful
I like the way you tuck your body close to me
When we're sleeping it's all right
*CHORUS*
Dream your fears away
And I'll be here all day
Dry your eyes
'Cause I'm here to spend
This moment in your arms again
The forecast calls for rain to take away the day
I guess we'll just have to stay
Inside the room
I'll bring your breakfast warm to wake you
From your dream
As I lift your head upright
*CHORUS*
And so good love
The day between us comes and goes
So soon and so magical
You bring the lock
I'll bring the key to set you free
As I lay your body down
*CHORUS*
This moment now
This moment now...
This moment in your arms...
This moment in your arms again
