Eve Berlin

Yves Berlin, is the bassist for St. Louis, Missouri band Living Things. He is the second oldest of the three brothers, being three years younger than Lillian, and two years older than Bosh. According to Lillian, Yves older brother, he took the name Yves after his aunt. Berlin previously used a Fender Precision Bass and a Gibson RD Artist bass, but now uses a Gibson Thunderbird, which he plays out of Ampeg amplifiers.

Berlin was featured in a Roberto Cavalli, "Just Cavalli" campaign with model Kate Moss. The photo shoot reportedly sparked an affair with Yves and Kate Moss while she was with musician Jamie Hince

Überlin

"Überlin" is a song by American alternative rock band R.E.M.. It was released as the second single from their fifteenth and final studio album Collapse into Now on January 25, 2011.

The song's music video was directed by Sam Taylor-Wood and stars her fiancé, actor Aaron Johnson.

Berlin (sculpture)

Berlin is the name of a sculpture on the Tauentzienstraße in western Berlin, the capital of Germany.

First conceived in 1985 and unveiled by the husband-and-wife sculpting team of Brigitte Matschinsky-Denninghoff and Martin Matschinsky in 1987, the sculpture's principal motif, a "broken chain", was meant to symbolize the severed connections between West and East Berlin due to the construction of the Berlin Wall.

Even though the Wall has since been dismantled, the sculpture was bought by the city from Mrs. Matschinsky-Denninghoff to commemorate the unfortunate chapter in German history.

History

Berlin was one of eight sculptures designed during "Skulpturenboulevard Kurfürstendamm" (Boulevard of Sculptures: Kurfürstendamm), an event commissioned by the city of West Berlin to celebrate Berlin's 750th anniversary in 1987. Of the eight sculptures unveiled, three were allowed to remain past the anniversary year (Berlin, Pyramide, and Cadillacs in Form der nackten Maja); the city and Deutsche Bank acquired Berlin after its original lease had expired.

Berlin (Kadavar album)

Berlin is the third studio album by German rock band Kadavar, released on 21 August 2015 by Nuclear Blast. It was the first album to fully feature new bassist Simon Bouteloup. It featured a cover of Nico's "Reich der Träume" as a bonus track.

Background

After working for four months in the studio, the band finalized the production process of the new album on June 1, 2015, according to their Facebook page.

Drummer and producer Christoph "Tiger" Bartelt commented: "About 10 years ago, when we - independently of one another - moved to Berlin, we just wanted to break free from home and do something new. I thought it was comfortable, to blend in and just live from day to day. A lot of very long nights and so many completely different people at one place. Where there are opposites you can always ground yourself. We’re all different, come from different places but have managed to create something together we all like. I think the Berlin lifestyle has influenced our band very much and therefore fits perfectly as the album’s title."

Eve (TV channel)

Eve is an Asian satellite and cable TV channel which provides documentary, factual-entertainment, lifestyle and reality programming for female audiences.

It is owned and operated by Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, a division of Discovery Communications.

The channel was launched on 1 August 2014 replacing Discovery Home & Health. The channel is available in Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. It is seen as the only Pay TV channel with a focus on non-fiction media. Eve is the second channel of TLC

The Outfoxies

The Outfoxies (アウトフォクシーズ, Autofokkushīzu) is a fighting arcade game which was released by Namco in 1994; it ran on Namco NB-2 hardware and features several professional hitmen secretly set against each other by a held-in-common client, "Mr. Acme". Acme and his wife had hired each of them to assassinate a wealthy art collector, then arranged for them to kill each other to ultimately avoid having to pay their fee - and it is an early example of arena fighting game which predates the straight-to-console Super Smash Bros. and Jump Super Stars series.
