A eutectic system (US dict: yü-'tek-tik) from the Greek "ευ" (eu = easy) and "Τήξις" (teksis = melting) describes a homogeneous solid mix of atomic and/or chemical species, to form a joint super-lattice, by striking a unique atomic percentage ratio between the components — as each pure component has its own distinct bulk lattice arrangement. It is only in this atomic/molecular ratio that the eutectic system melts as a whole, at a specific temperature (the eutectic temperature) the super-lattice releasing at once all its components into a liquid mixture. The eutectic temperature is the lowest possible melting temperature over all of the mixing ratios for the involved component species.
Upon heating any other mixture ratio, and reaching the eutectic temperature — see the phase diagram to the right — one component's lattice will melt first, while the temperature of the mixture has to further increase for (all) the other component lattice(s) to melt. Conversely, as a non-eutectic mixture cools down, each mixture's component will solidify (form its lattice) at a distinct temperature, until all material is solid.
St. Louis College of Pharmacy (STLCOP) is a private and independent nonsectarian professional university in St. Louis, Missouri. It was founded in 1864.
Located on an eight-acre campus in St. Louis' Central West End medical community, the St. Louis College of Pharmacy is the oldest college of pharmacy west of the Mississippi River. The College’s 6,000 living alumni represent 50 states and 11 foreign countries. Approximately 72 percent of practicing pharmacists in the St. Louis region are graduates of St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
The College admits students directly from high school and integrates the liberal arts and sciences with a professional curriculum leading to the PharmD degree. In 2014, the College expanded to a seven-year program which will allow students to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree after four academic years.
Enrollment is currently at 1,260 students, with incoming freshmen classes of approximately 250 students. These students are taken directly from high school, with applicants also allowed to transfer each year until the first professional year of the program.
When we drove back into town we found more snow upon the ground
The place was gray as Puget Sound
Surprise, surprise
You said this place would never change, while we age it stays the same
You said you had to find some bluer skies
“We should find us a place in the sun,” I said
I just mumbled those words from the song in my head
Yeah Stevie Wonder is feeding me fine poetry
So come out onto your balcony
I said, “Let’s get out of the cold, somewhere they’ve never heard of snow”
You said you were going alone
Surprise, surprise
You said you had some things to do and there would not be room for two
I tried to find some way to change your mind
“I never dreamed you would leave me in winter,” I said
And that made you laugh but you still shook your head
If I’m just gonna quote Stevie’s lines like a jerk
