The firm was founded in 1972. Euromonitor's website states the firm currently employs more than 1,000 analysts and consultants globally, who source market information in 80 countries, producing consumer industry market reports, reference books, company profiles, current market data, and market forecasts.
Euromonitor's research and consulting unit offers competitor intelligence, market and trends analysis, mergers and acquisitions research, and statistical data analysis and modelling in a range of industries ranging from consumer goods to travel services.
